We've only had a couple sessions so far, but I like the way we receive an emailed report after each session and I like that there has been some effort to coordinate with my daughter's school teachers.
I was very impressed at how easy it was to get my daughter started at Sylvan, and how fast everyone there helped her catch up with her homework, and helped her stay on track with her current assignments as well. My daughter had detached retina surgery and couldn't read or do schoolwork for about three weeks. When she returned to school she was very stressed because she was trying to do her current work and catch-up work at the same time. She was also trying to send in college applications and practice for auditions. My sister suggested Sylvan, and the day she started we could immediately see the stress diminish. My daughter, who is a typical 18 year old and very hard to please, was impressed with all of the teachers and the help they gave her. I was impressed with the daily feedback from the instructors, and their willingness to be flexible with scheduling. Thanks to Sylvan, my daughter is back on track. I would recommend Sylvan to anyone who wants to help their child succeed.
