First, I like that I get a telephone call from TruGreen letting me know when someone is coming to do our lawn service.
Secondly, Jason Powell is the specialist that usually comes and first knocks on the door to see if someone is home. He is a very professional young man.

If I were to more precisely rate my Trugreen experience, I would give the interactions I have had with the local Hagerstown, Maryland, office and Mr. Dent a 10. Mr. Dent and the staff have always returned my calls promptly, and taken the time to answer my lawn care questions thoroughly, professionally, and politely. Issues that have frustrated me as a True Green customer have mostly been the result of my contact with Trugreen at the corporate level.
I want to make sure my lawn is prepared, so it can achieve the best results possible from each Trugreen treatment. It is difficult to do this with the current Trugreen communication systems. The robo calls I receive do not give me 24 notice; they only give me a few hours to prepare my yard for service. These calls also do not mention the type of service to be performed. When I access my account online, there is no information posted about upcoming service (just the number of remaining services). It is also difficult to cancel or reschedule service dates outside of business hours (9:00-5:00). I’m afraid if I have to cancel a service appointment, the crew will not get the information in time. I can leave messages for the Hagerstown personnel, but I do not expect them to be on call 24/7. A cancellation/reschedule option on the 800 number or the website would be extremely helpful.
I feel my comments of 9/20 were overly harsh. I received the robo call about the next day’s service in the afternoon. Immediately upon getting home from my second job, I mowed several acres of my large, rural, hilly lawn with a push mower by the light of my car headlights. I then tried for over an hour by phone and online to get information about my lawn treatment. I wanted to make sure that it was only a fertilizer treatment. I was extremely tired and frustrated by the experience.
If Trugreen would provide customers via phone and/or website with information about the tentative dates and types of treatments, and a cancellation/reschedule option, my customer satisfaction with my entire Trugreen experience would greatly improve.
