What do you like about our workout?

Don't know how it happened but something about punching a bag has suddenly become more therapeutic than drinking a glass of wine. As a new mom, taking that leap to be active and in shape again is a big step. I'm a pretty small girl (just grazing 5 foot on a good hair day) and boxing is probably the last thing I thought I'd ever try. But seriously, this is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Taylor walked me through the process of signing up for my first class and took the time to ask me what kind of goals I had in mind. The first class was exciting (and for someone who has never touched a pair of boxing gloves), you feel pretty bada** when they wrap your hands and put your gloves on for the first time. The workout was hard but paced well. Taylor taught the 9 am class and took time to demonstrate proper form and technique. What I like about this workout is that I concentrate on the bag and myself - not worrying if I look like a complete fool for not knowing what I was doing (which is what I feel like when I go to the gym or do other workouts). I took my time, didn't feel judged for being new or small, and most of all - saw everyone else in the corner of my eyes working hard and having a REALLY good time. I probably looked like a mess and drenched the floor below me because after my first class, four other people came up to me and gave me a high five for getting through that 60 minute workout.

The workout itself is structured really well even for a beginner, but the trainers, other members, and environment itself seals the deal.

When I first arrived COREY educated me on various punches and stances as well as let me know what to expect from a workout. Appreciated his willingness to answer any and all my questions. My instructor Taylor was AMAZING!!!!!!!! VERY THOROUGH and made me feel welcome and confident about what I was doing even though it was my first class. I felt very welcomed and I am definitely glad I made the decision to become a member.

What do you like about our workout?

I liked that it was challenging and that there were different combos or routines we'd do in between short breaks. I do wish they offered a beginners special for a couple classes, just to see to make sure it's something I'd really like to come back and do before commiting to the monthly price or package.

It was very intense. If you're looking for a full body workout this is the way to go. The instructors are very friendly, make sure that you have everything you need and they're also very helpful.

Workout was intense and motivating. Plus you're able to take breaks during workout (drink water, etc) if needed. Classes can fit into anyone's schedule. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
