the assessment was incredibly helpful in answering some of our questions about our daughters struggle with some of her subjects. She has really enjoyed the one on one interaction with her teachers and we are seeing some improvements in her overall confidence in her work.
Move through known or obvious stuff faster, a bit mroe tailored to the student versus slave to the "process"

Sylvan runs very timely and provides the service it promises. Olivia's anxiety about math is MUCH better since she started the Homework Help sessions.
I feel that a lot of effort has been given to help Jessica In her comprehension, reading vocab, etc.
Follow through and provide me with the feedback on how my child is doing in her instructions....I've heard nothing from Sylvan. I'd like to know the opinions of her instructors on where she is progressing and where she is struggling yet.
My daughter Elizabeth struggled with math and she had a d in alegebra at the end she got a c- as a final grade, which needless to say dropped her grade point average. She was coming in weekly and understood it while it was being explained.
The staff is wonderful and very committed to the success of their students!

My children enjoy the time they are at Sylvan and the reward system gives them something to work for. They don't even realize they are not going to have the summer learning loss of most kids!

Practice Tests illustrated one result while real testing realized little
to no improvements? Are practice tests too easy?
Small group interaction, flexible time schedule, location and staff is very friendly and helpful!

My husband and I both work and we have three kids. The youngest is struggling with math. We have tried working with him but he just was fighting us the whole time. He enjoys going to Sylvan and he seems to respond better to the teachers than us.
Very cooperative with my son's schedule. They worked very hard to accomidate his needs.The on line componet is very helpful because of the video explaination.
He will be taking the speed reading course either in April or June.
