Sylvan is works with the parents and child and gives positive support and feedback. My child has done very well with Sylvan and is very motivated to improve her skills. She has returned to improve her math skills!

I can only speak for my personal experience, but they targeted in on the learning needs of my grandson and made learning the necessary skills fun.

I am not sure of the results of the work Sylvan did with my son, because it was last minute ACT prep and we have not yet seen the test results, but Sylvan was very helpful and as accommodating as they could be to fit my son in at the last minute and give him some help!

I can't begin to say enough great stuff about the employees you have at the Traverse City Sylvan school. Karie, Lisa,Joe, Brad and the rest of the awesome employees you have their are fantastic. I have been doing so well in my college classes from going to Sylvan that i am going to be sending my twin girls to Sylvan this summer.I would love to see every teacher their get a raise if it were up to me. They are the most valuable tool i have up my sleeve for my classes. The method and techniques that they use are great. They do not just treat you like another person that they are stuck tutoring they treat you with compassion and friendship.I can tell that they love what they do and they enjoy being at work, i do not think they look at it as work because they love what they do. They go the extra mile to make sure that you understand the material you are being introduced to. There motto is the only dumb question is a question not asked i would say. If i would have gone to Sylvan while i was in school i know i would have gotten better grades than i did. I feel that Sylvan has given me the tools to succeed in my classes and i could not be happier with the caliber of teachers that are employed their. I have brought up my Spelling, Math,English and my writing so much i feel so much more confident in my classes. Before i would be afraid to spell anything out because i knew i would spell it incorrectly and be embarrassed. If i make any grammer or spelling errors now it's because it's 2:45 AM . I know with the help my girls will get from Sylvan that they will succeed in their classes so much better, myself and my girls are so excited for them to get started this summer. Very professional and wonderful staff. They have done a great job encouraging our child and really care about him. I like that there is feedback, continual testing to see if he already knows something (and can therefore skip it), and our child loves to redeem the tokens earned at the store. Sylvan makes learning fun for him and a place he looks forward to going.

The approach you use to the needs of the individual student.
I liked the positive and enthusiastic voices on the other end of the telephone line. The class we needed started the night I called, and the staff was able to get the paperwork to me immediately. I had a personal meeting with a staff member before the first class, and we discussed my son's needs and goals. I felt like she truly cared about my son and his future.
That I can communicate with the Center and I get quick results.
