The teaching team at Sylvan have helped significantly improve my childrens' ability to write and read, and their math skills. The communication from Sylvan is excellent and management is very responsive and friendly. Our family highly recommends Sylvan!

Sent my kids to Sylvan is the best choice I have ever made! We just moved from Quebec to Vancouver and my three kids know nothing about English, a friend of mine recommended Sylvan. After two months of work, my kids already adapted the school learning and they are much more confident and comfortable in English, I really appreciate everything that Sylvan has done for my kids and I highly recommend Sylvan to all the parents.

I liked the initial testing that was black and white. While I can appreciate the new curriculum's aim of teaching concepts, conceptual thinking, and big ideas, I have never been told in 8 years of schooling that my son is reading below grade level. I like the targeted, remedial practice. Sometimes you just have to put your feet under the desk and rigorously try, again and again, to master a skill and then move on.

Sylvan provides a great program with tutors are very helpful. Having after school/evening/weekend sessions make this program very easy to fit into our busy family schedule.
