Sylvan does so much more than aid in teaching or mentoring a child. They offer encouragement, understanding, patience, joy in learning, and they are truly someone that your child can lean on. Each child is important to them and they understand that each child is unique and precious.

The staff at the Eau Claire, WI Sylvan location have been nothing less than exceptional! My daughter LOVES attending sessions and is gaining confidence in her reading skills. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, teaching methods, and support they give to both my daughter and us as parents. Sylvan has been the answer to our prayers! Sylvia the director is the best! She creates a program individualized to each of my kids whose needs and personalities are very different. She communicates well, is knowledgeable, kind, helpful, patient, and enthusiastic. The teachers who help my kids are fantastic!

Working with Sylvan has been a very positive experience for our family. Our 10 year old son has struggled with reading comprehension over the past 1-2 years. The COVID pandemic only made things worse for him with less reading intervention at school. He then began to struggle with math - a subject he was previously strong in. So we turned to Sylvan for help. We are so glad we did! We’ve been with Sylvan for a month now and we can see a difference in our sons attitude towards reading and writing. He is more confident and eager to learn. He is also now building on comprehension and root words.
