The results. Within a couple of weeks, we began to see a dramatic improvement in our son's reading ability. He has always read slowly, and if he came across a word he did not recognize, he would throw out a wild guess and move on. He has only had 12 hours of tutoring thus far, but the improvement has been amazing. His speed, accuracy, and reading enjoyment have really improved. However, the result that his Mother and I have enjoyed most, is the tremendous boost in his confidence. Lucas now believes in his academic ability as much as his parents always have. I view the tuition at Sylvan as an investment in my son's future, an investment that is already paying large dividends. Thank you so much to Destiny and all the wonderful teachers and staff at Sylvan. We believe you are all a blessing sent from God to guide Lucas's future in the right direction.

Well i haven't been sending my son long enough to see an improvement. They have to be doing something right he isn't refusing to go. He isn't negative when he goes to the center.I can't really judge as far as achievement since he has only been going a couple of weeks.

I loved the caring atmosphere; everyone we met truly was committed to making sure that Roy achieved his goal--which he did. We're seeing that long-hoped-for A in Math regularly now, and he says that Math is one of his favorite subjects.

My son, Joseph, has felt welcome since day one. He has liked all of his teachers. And I appreciate the flexibility shown by staff members. Things come up in life, and we've always been treated with understanding & respect when we've needed to change Joseph's schedule. And finally, when I needed to focus Joseph more on his math & less on his study skills for a little while, his schedule was changed immediately to accomodate our needs. I appreciate that more than I could possibly say!

My 5 year old grandson was struggling with letters and basic beginner words and was receiving extra help in kindergarten. He was unable to keep up with the progress of the rest of his class. Now, as a first grader, he is reading and spelling at the normal level and getting very good reports from his teacher. He is so happy with himself--it's so rewarding to see the change. Thank you so much, Sylvan! This would not have happened without you!
Ease of appointments and staffs' flexibility. Payment plan was convenient, too - and we didn't feel like we were having anything "forced" on us - we got exactly what we wanted.
