My child is a straight A student but was having a real confidence decline and skill gap with writing on command at school. We approached Sylvan to help rekindle his joy of learning and confidence in this subject area. He really enjoys coming to Sylvan and re-enforcing his skills for writing. He says they help teach him "how" to write not just "to" write as they are demanding of him in class at school. Sylvan is helping him to solidify skills to move forward, and developing an "I can do that" attitude when asked to write at school.

The one on one online tutoring that my daughter receives is excellent. It is wonderful that during a pandemic, I can access this service for my daughter and ensure that she stays on track for good marks in school. It is truly difficult times that we are living in and having this support for her has helped her significantly.

Dorthy not only teaches my son but he loves getting into the computer to have their session. With the new home study going on I find I can’t help with his school work and Dorthy always has the time and never makes him feel bad. I love the confidence he has gained and true understanding of both math and ELA.
