I've enjoyed the atmosphere and our kiddo doesn't put up a fuss going. There's a bit more reliance on computers that 1-1 instruction than I think would be ideal, but overall, we're seeing progress and we appreciate the support!

Great learning atmosphere for children.
The staff is extremely friendly. My grandson is so appreciative of how kind everyone is and most importantly, my grandson tells me that they are very helpful in explaining lessons to him.
My daughter really enjoyed her sessions. She was greeted every morning by Ms. Robin and staff. Each day was filled with excitement and progress. We look forward to more sessions.
My son enjoys going and his teacher, which says a lot. He seems to be progressing but it’s still early.
The staff are amazing and patient.

We’ve only been with Sylvan for approximately 3-4 weeks. But I already see a change in my daughter’s confidence and in her grades. Instead of asking for help she’s talking through the problem alone and figuring out the correct answers on her own. The tutors and staff are extremely helpful and nice as well. It’s expensive but the money is well spent.
Personal attention, care, & concern
I absolutely, love the way the staff handles and communicate with the children. My grandson is 7 years old and he can admit that Sylvan has helped him in school for his reading. In a months time I can see a difference in his attitude towards reading. He's no longer afraid to try.
Thier are a variety of hours and days to choose from, which makes it very easy to attend even if you have a full day schedule.
My son is very excited to come to the center to learn from the conversations that we have he’s picking up new things. And as a parent that’s what I want to see and hear I truly recommend sylvan to anyone parent that wants to further there kids skills.
So far really good experience our son is improving his reading and comprehension skills and studying independently.
My daughter went from saying things like "I just suck at math" to "I'm really good at Sylvan math". This year working with her on homework I can see how much more confident she is in her answers.
Our daughter is learning and enjoying her time Sylvan of Columbia. No complaints here.

My daughter, Emma Eichholz, attended your Virtual Exam Prep program to prepare for the December 4th SAT exam. She felt confident and expressed to me that she felt this tutoring was very helpful. She felt the course work was well-paced and truly felt the instructors cared about her outcome on the SAT. Honestly, while Emma knows the SAT is important, I thought I was going to get push-back from her in preparing for the test. She carries a good number of AP classes and has a substantial amount of work from her private school. She did not complain at all (and she is a teen!) and that in itself is a testament to how well the Timonium Center prep program was delivered, Thank you so much for taking care of Emma and we will follow up when she receives her score. Sylvan is excellent. They are helpful and knowledgeable.
Sylvan Crofton is the greatest discovery that our family has made! The spirit of the center is just magical, the administrators and teachers are all just so genuinely wonderful, and the work they do with our child is immeasurable. We are so grateful to have found this place - it is truly special and has helped our daughter with her math skills so very much!
