What most impressed you about the service you received from AmeriGas?

To be totally honest, the main reason we moved our account from Flame in Camp Verde (after more than 23 years of having worked with that company), was the excellent customer service offered to your clients by Janice Crosser, at your Payson, AZ office.

I am a long-time Realtor in our Happy Jack community (for the past 27 years, full-time), and I've had to interact with Janice on numerous occasions when clients of mine who had North- ern Energy/Amerigas out of Payson, AZ, for their propane provider, had sold their homes.

I was always so very favorably impressed by how Janice handled everything so smoothly, in transitioning from the previous property owner to the new property owner . . . and I was less than satisfied with the customer service we had been receiving from Flame (which company I know is also now a member of your AmeriGas corporate structure).

Since we own our large 500-gallon main tank, and only lease our smaller 250-gallon tank,
we didn't have to have any tanks changed out, in order to transition to using the Payson
branch of your company for our personal propane delivery services. We just got fed up
with the then-manager of the Flame branch of AmeriGas in Camp Verde, AZ. He was a
guy named Gerald and he was always rude and difficult to deal with. We had done busi-
ness with that Camp Verde office of Flame for 23 years, as stated above. During most of
those years, that company was managed by a wonderful guy named Frank Stegal, who
eventually retired, and was "replaced" by this Gerald person. Gerald was a very insecure
and contentious person who was so rude to people. The only thing that kept us with Flame
for the length of time we stayed with that company during Gerald's tenure, was a wonderful
lady named Jan, who had been with that branch of Flame for many years, and who offered
us friendly and competent customer service. She herself got so fed up with Gerald, after her
many years of working with Frank Stegal, that she took retirement earlier than she originally
planned, because she couldn't work with Gerald either. Once Jan left, there was no "buffer"
to soften Gerald's off-putting manner of dealing with customers, and that is when we made
the decision to make the change over to Northern Energy, which became a branch of your
AmeriGas corporate family by the time we made the decision to change from Flame over to
your Payson Office (formerly named Northern Energy). Again, Janice was the main reason
we chose that branch of your company, after we simply could not do business with Gerald
any longer at Flame.

Your delivery personnel are always very pleasant and professional to work with, and again,
Janice is just a fantastic ambassador for your company in dealing with its many customers.
Michael at the Payson office is also great to work with. Although he doesn't have Janice's
experience level in his job, he still does an excellent job of trying to assist customers if Janice is not in the office when I call in.

We also appreciate the pre-buy opportunity every late summer, and do participate in that program every year.

We are customers of your company for all of these reasons expressed above, but again, the
primary reason we changed over to the "Northern Energy" Payson office of AmeriGas, is be-
cause of Janice Crosser, and her incredible professionalism, knowledge, willingness to help in any way she can, and also her friendly, helpful nature. She is just the best, and I appreciate having this opportunity to tell your company leadership about the truly valuable employee you have in Janice Crosser of your company's Payson, AZ office.

What most impressed you about the service you received from AmeriGas?

Everyone was very helpful, from the gals that answer the phones to
the fellas that came out to the house.
I felt that I was care for in many ways.
They fit me in a busy schedule more then once.
The men that came to my house knew there job and couldn't have been
more helpful and friendly.

Every time I called they took the time to explain everything which was very helpful since we were new to ordering propane.
Good customer service is hard to come by from our experience. Very happy!

This is the first time in years that the delivery driver call me the night before to let me know that he was coming. I was able to unlock my gate the night before; rather than receiving a call when the driver was 10 minutes away and wanted access to the back yard. Typically I am at work when the driver calls that day; then I need to reschedule and remind him to call the night before!

The two guys out knew what they were doing and I had total confidence. We talked about what I needed and they came up with a solution. The sales reps should work in the field with these guys for a few months before they are involved in customer service as this would make their job easier and they would be more informed and confident to the customer
