I liked that they pre-test and re-test, and they fill in the gaps in the student's knowledge. Also, it is wonderful that they are very flexible. They are all kind and helpful teachers. Even though our son is a very reluctant learner, they made the learner enjoyable, so he rarely complained about having to go there for four hours every week.
It is personalized to help my child were he is right now and maps out how to get them to where they should be.

My son seems to be comfortable working one on one with the staff. I have worked closely with my son since he was a toddler with tremendous success until the last two years. Now, he refuses to work with me, yet he needs a lot of monitoring. I am relieved to finally have someone else "take over." I'm hoping your staff can get through to him and help him understand how much work high school is. He doesn't seem equipped to work harder. I'm hoping your approach will make a difference. Thanks

My son has only had an assessment and two sessions so far. But, your staff is friendly and informative. My son seems to like going. Once he has gone for more sessions I can comment more on the progress he's making.

I can't believe how much my son's algebra grade has improved after going to Sylvan Learning Center. They were able to determine how far back he got lost and now he's getting his homework done without help and getting great test scores!
I like the pretesting to see what level to tutoring my child needs to start with. I also like the sessions and mastering a level before moving to the next phase, the parent conferences, and working with the schools is helpful to make sure everyone is on the same page with my child's learning.
