Sylvan gave my daughter Rebecca, the confidence to realize that she could do the work. The instructors worked with her and she improved her overall math grade by eleven points in just four and a half weeks time. You take the time to find my son's weakness and then work with him, based on that. He made progress in school, almost immediately! He finally seems to go to learn something without his usual dred and anxiety!! It is amazing to me! So sad that the public school systems can not manage to do the same thing! I like the individualized attention to my child's specific learning challenges. I also like that she works independently but is also able to get immediate help when necessary.
