Murray is friendly, explains the program clearly, and I feel confident that he is paying attention to my child's progress. I like how the initial tests show my child's specific weaknesses, which then can be addressed. I like how thorough the "parent-teacher" interviews are; I come away feeling confident about my child's progress. I also like how flexible things can be: my child was told "yes!" when he asked if he could bring his math homework in to work on with the teacher, as well as the regular study skills program he's enrolled in. Finally, I am very impressed with my child's teacher, Daryl: my child thinks very highly of him, and because of the good relationship they have, my child is not reluctant to go to Sylvan at all.
Very clear on the plan for your child and are very accommodating regarding scheduling.
I like that the lessons are customized to fit the needs of the student. The lessons really hone in on the challenging areas of learning. As a result of my son attending Sylvan, he has gone from reading on the 4th grade level in the 7rh grade to now reading on a 10th grade level in 10th grade. I don't know where he would be without Sylvan. Thank you so much!!!

I like the ratio of students/teachers. Friendly open door policy. Any questions or concerns are answered and resolved in a timely matter. My son is always excited to go and always leaves Sylvan happy.
Through what they were able to do to help my daughters with their grades. One of my daughters was headed into 7th grade and was tested on a 4.7 grade level in reading, after completing close to 100 hours with Sylvan my daughter's average was at 6.7. My high schooler was having trouble in algebra and we enrolled her in Sylvan and now she holds an A average in Algebra II. I know neither of my daughters would have been able to over come their problems had it not been for Sylvan.

Its the first time ever that my daughter hasn't cried at the mention of doing homework. I love the confrences so that the parents can be kept informed of their childs progress. My daughter loves the token system and being able to bring home something special.
