Leanna was amazing. She worked hard to make sure that my son received the tutoring he needed, in the best manner for his ACT needs. My son really liked his tutor, and felt it helped him. After only a couple of sessions, he increased his ACT score by 2 points. The kindess of the staff, and the scheduling flexibility made our Sylvan experience a great one. Everyone at our local Sylvan Learning Center is so warm, friendly, and obviously dedicated to the success of my child. Sylvan provides learning in a very supportive, technologically advanced, and fun atmosphere. Math has always been a dreaded subject for my daughter, but not any longer. I have never seen her so excited to learn before! I am extremely grateful for Sylvan!!
The staff is very friendly and my child enjoys coming to each visit and the individualized attention is great!
They were very accomodating with our schedule. My daughter felt very comfortable with the teacher and felt more in control of her school work.
I love the flexibility of the scheduling! I live an hour away, work full time and run lots with kids and activities...having such a flexible schedule is KEY in our family. I also love the friendliness of all staff, the one on one work with my child and the over-all atmosphere from Sylvan. A very "learning" environment - making it FUN to learn :)

The teachers are friendly. The 3:1 ratio gives my child more one on one with the teacher. They work around our schedule and try to accommodate us any way they can.

Room for improvement exists in more aggressive goals for students. Keeping pace is not enough for this investment in our case.
