Well maintained equipment -attention to cleanliness
Love the pickleball. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Great staff 😎
Terrific amount of options and great staff.
There is variety of activities in Y, and the equipment is updated in time. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I like everything about our small town Y. We meet our our neighbors and friends there when exercising or doing drop offs for kids. The staff recognize us and are friendly. It is being cleaned constantly. I am a proud member!
Great facilities and staff. The Y's programs and activities are designed to serve the entire community.
There are a number of activities at the Kennett Y ranging from cycling, group workouts such as Zumba and Les Mills Tone. The instructors are well trained and very friendly.
Have been doing the virtual Pilates, yoga and combination classes since Covid started. I will continue to do them.
I just participated in a Pump class this last rainy Saturday with Mary. She is a great instructor and encouraged me to get back into coming to classes. I enjoyed going to her classes before Covid.
swimming . The live guards are awesome. David and others.
I enjoy the Body Pump and spin classes that I take. All the instructors I've had have been excellent. I feel like I need a fixed schedule to do the exercise I need, so I don't make use of the weight rooms or other facilities.
I just wish you still had a fuller 6 am schedule. Even though I'm no longer working I prefer to work out earlier rather than later so as not to take up too much of my day.
The instructors! Even when I’m feeling unmotivated, I’ve never regretted coming in to work out because of the instructors and their amazing energy. Shout outs to Jen D., Janice, Suzi, Helen & Kyleigh
I like the pool and locker facilities. They are so clean and well maintained, and the lifeguards appear very responsible and friendly. Everyone I have met at the Y is friendly and helpful.
Love playing indoor pickleball! Occasionally, use the Wellness Center and weight room.
proximity to home
nice offering in pickleball and swimming facilities
friendly staff
We signed our boy up for the basketball conditioning class in Kennet that’s going on now. We’re super impressed with the organization and skills being taught! The hour and 1 1/2 time is very good too.
I’m able to do my exercise routine on the equipment provided. However, it’s hard to do it in the mid-later afternoon as it gets crowded
The senior programs; availability of exercise machines of many levels, the walking track.
Shower in the mens locker room is one of the best. It may sound a bit silly, but a lot of YMCA's have poor shower heads that do not push water with good force. After a hard workout, it feels good to have a nice shower. In some other YMCA locations, taking a shower feels like another mini-workout :)
Lots of options
Very clean facility, the staff is friendly and helpful. I like the large array of programs available for people of all ages
friendly, professional, and helpful. Also very clean. Just would like staff to remind some of the wright lifters to CLEAN after using the weights and machines. ITs usually a few of the same offenders.... all guys, mostly non-white.
The swim team is the reason we are members of the Y!
The child watch team is great! The cardio room and weight machines are always well kept. Swim team and spring swim have been amazing.
I used to lift at jennersville Y for 15 years, but they got riid of 1/3 of gym equipment....Therefore I switched to Kennett facility
I thoroughly enjoy the water exercise class that is instructed by Jane. It's a wonderful workout. All of the staff are very pleasant and helpful.
The instructors are WONDERFUL!!
Cleanliness of the weight room.
Friendly staff.
Love ❤️ the Kennett Y.
The Y is clean, staffed with friendly, experienced staff, and has a variety of programming that meets the needs of families in our community.
I primarily use the pickleball program and think that everyone does a pretty good job with it. However, the time structure is a bit ridiculous when play is stopped at the end of the session when nobody is coming in to use the gymnasium. Stopping in the middle of a game is silly just to clear the court. If someone were waiting to use the gym then I would agree that the court should be cleared but not if there isn't anyone waiting to play basketball etc.
