Friendly staff, great weight and cardio equipment, always clean. I like everything about my membership - no complaints! Keep being a fantastic facility!

Our family loves the YMCA. Very family friendly and there are always machines available to use in the fitness center. We will be starting swim lessons this Fall/Winter and also find the membership very reasonable. The complimentary day care is fantastic as well and allows both my wife and I an opportunity to work out/exercise.

All the staff and members at the Kennett Y are all very friendly and the Kennett Y has a great sense of community and for that reason I love going. I've gone to the Jennersville Y in the past but have found my comfort and enjoy the Kennett Y and instructors so much more at Kennett!

Value for money, lots to always do at the Y, it is well maintained and the staff are (usually) very warm and welcoming.

Well maintained and beautiful facility. Highly qualified and friendly staff. In depth and varied class offerings with classes being offered many times throughout the week.

I started using the Y for the aqua classes due to injuries. I like the variety of the classes with the different techniques that the variety of instructors use. I am not one who really likes to exercise nor have I been an athlete.

I attend the Kennett YMCA 8:30 deep water classes: I joined for the water exercises due to some old injuries that limit movement as well as wanting to lose weight.

M-W-F Classes
Leslie Brennan caters to the needs of her classes and since she enters the pool with the group this helps her to be one-on-one with the attendees of her class. Many of us have a ailment of some kind, she is very conscientious of this and will alter her instructions. She also helps our older classmates or ones that have returned to class after surgery with particular exercises. Leslie's classes are quite large due to the days of week, so it is nice that she is able to open an extra lane when needed.

T-TH Classes
Mary (don't know last name, sorry) has a different technique. She has more of a cardio workout, which has been great for improving my stamina. She realizes that we have some in the class that will not be able to keep up the pace, so she will give alternate exercises. Although she usually does not enter the poor, she is able to view our movements and will help by commenting in order for us to correct our technique. I love her class so much, I will add the extra days to my work out week.

Both ladies have been great for helping me reach my goal of becoming mindful and improving my health. I am grateful to them for how much they care and want each of us in the class to improve our lives.

Due to Leslie and Mary, I enjoy coming to the Y and try to be in class three or more days a week. You would never know that I use to hate getting in the pool! Their great personalities keep me coming back for more.

There are so many classes available so there's no reason not to exercise! Also, there's plenty of equipment. Staff and teachers are very friendly. It's the best bargain going!

I am not at all happy about the website change. I like to keep a copy of the exercise classes, this can no longer be done. I would hope they put a pdf copy at least on the website for members to have.

Kennett YMCA is more a community than a gym/sport place. So many things to do.
