Student Testimonials
I love that I can travel across the country and still feel a part of the Corepower community!!
Great yoga but awful parking!
High levels of everything
Classes are great. Amenities could use some work + possibly try carrying some different brands in the shop (Live Sankalpa, etc)
The instructors here are amazing! Love the variety of classes offered, especially the special ones that come up time to time. The challenges such as hit the mat 20 times in May. Mat and towel rental makes it convenient. This particular studio is very clean.
I am very pleased with my Corepower experience thus far. Not only are the classes amazing and inspiring but the staff is also so friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about the Corepower Westwood studio.
Very welcoming and accessible. Environment feels clean and calming.
Absolutely loved my expirence here! Yoga sculpt kicked my butt.
No matter where I go, the teachers are phenomenal. Each person brings their own unique style to the class and I always get a great workout.
I just signed up and got a week free I came and tried it. I loved it. Iv been telling everyone and getting some people to sign up. It's great I love it
Intensity of workouts and instructors keeps you motivated.
loved the class!
The community created by the wonderful instructors. Shout out to Anthony, Lauren, Nicholette, and Kaitlyn!
Thursday nights sculpt class was AMAZING!!!! I would recommend and have been recommending this class to everyone. The female intructor(i think kate) deserves an award
I had an amazing experience. The place is very clean. It also has a shower. People are very nice too. Love it
I like that there is music during each class and that the teachers talk you through the poses. It is a much more accessible yoga class for people like me who have ADHD than some other yoga classes that are more geared toward meditation.
Good Afternoon,
I'm writing to complain about the check-in policy at CorePower Yoga Westwood and specifically how it negatively affected me.
I came in for a Yoga Sculpt on 6 p.m. on Wednesday and proceeded to place my mat down in the studio to ensure I got a spot. I then stood in line to check-in (i.e. scan my card), but once I reached the front they informed me that they were at capacity. I then had to remove my mat along with my wife's. This was very frustrating given that I plan my days and weeks around specific classes and plan on attending those. I only attend around 2 per week.
There are several other issues with what happened:
1. First, there is nothing communicated anywhere - on the website or in the studio by signage or by the instructors - that you need to check-in (i.e. scan in) FIRST before placing your mat down. I didn't even know they determined they were "at capacity" by number of check-ins rather than physical mats placed in the studio. If I knew that, I would have stood in line. The irony is I probably checked in too late only because I took the time to place my mat down first.
2. Second, Corepower should strongly consider having online class sign ups so people know in advance whether they can attend a particular class. I plan my day specifically around certain classes and drive to work on days I am going to the 6 pm class so I can get to the class in time. Since there aren't online sign ups beforehand, I know I have to get there early - and that's what I did this time. It isn't fair to people who plan their days around specific classes especially when there isn't a clear policy about when they are at capacity. Again, capacity could easily be determined by physical mats placed down as opposed to number of people that scan their cards.
3. Black tag members may not even know they need to scan in because they have unlimited classes. Or they may decide to scan in after class. Again, it's not communicated anywhere that you need to scan in first.
It was a frustrating experience but I don't fault the instructors. The policy is not clear and therefore is very haphazard results.
Big clean studios with awesome teachers! Corepower has become like family
clean, nice studios. fantastic space. professional front desk employees and yoga instructors
This location in particular has top notch staff- super friendly and helpful. I really feel the love at CPY Westwood and it seems super genuine! The staff knows regulars by name and makes efforts to get to know anyone new. In addition, it is kept clean and they enforce the rules of the yoga studio to keep the environment relaxed and respectful. I really love this location, and having been to other CPY locations, would absolutely recommend this one in particular!
Good classes and teachers
The instructors are awesome!!
The teachers are really friendly and the classes are great. It's an exercise class that I really enjoy.
I love the location and have always been a fan of the sculpt class! I tried hpf with Nicole the other day for the first time and it was awesome! The instructors are super nice and always greet me! The classes can get too packed though and I try to get their early but always end up crammed even when I try to get a good spot.
