Some of the best instructors but even better people. Manny's and Tamara's knowledge and execution of their craft is exceptional. Erin and Andrea's physical execution in exercises due to their strength or dexterity is artful and inspiring.
The website is horrible though - on my android the class schedule webpage moves side to side (from day to day) uncontrollably. It's maddening. Oh and I won't use the app because I don't take my phone in with me. And the emails about how many classes I've taken are wrong and insult my effort.
With last night's instructor, Andrea, you have an excellent, passionate and committed instructor who needs more support though. Andrea teaches an outside C1 on Saturday mornings and could have really used help in making sure the space outside was clean, clear, noise reduced, etc.. Erin, the manager, had to nearly hop the fence during class to ask a man mowing his lawn if he'd stop. Though it was her first time teaching the class (and my first and last time taking it at that time, outside - months ago), it was the typical great idea/intention but failed execution - because the space was filthy, too loud and again, Andrea and Erin weren't supported - there could have been sound prevention sheets/curtains, the concrete patio could have been washed by the building''s management, etc.. A big let down but due to their excellent qualities, they've just kept on.
Lastly, there should be a way to converse with instructors via the website. Each class schedule has a photo of the instructor (actually most don't and or out of date). Their names are cut off and when you click their name you should be taken to their site which has a photo, bio, etc.. Again, most have nothing. Most importantly though there needs to be a link: ask this instructor a question, access their playlist OR it's two way, where the instructor can reach out to students - "...nice downward dog yesterday" or "... haven't seen you in C2 for a while." Part of group exercise is making connections in many ways. This helps and would go a long way to making and strengthening those connections. It also further differentiates Core Power's experience. And ANYTHING is better than mass marketing, impersonal emails offering me 20% off yoga pants!

I've been going to CorePower for years in San Diego. I just moved up to Sacramento, and am now at the Fair Oaks location. Although it's not San Diego, they are doing a great job at maintaining the energy of CorePower.
