My sons love to go to mathenesium. They remind me that we have to go even on saturdays. I am really impressed with whole team. Heather is doing a great job. All the instructors are willing to work with the students And their changing needs.
The program is wonderful and is definitely helping my child; however, I give it a nine only because the hours sometimes make it difficult for my high school aged child to get in enough time. Being open until even 7:30 if not 8:00 would help some days.
Company philosopy very good for people running franchises are very attentive to individual needs, correspondence with school is in good continuity of student goals.

My daughter was a 5th grader and struggled in math. She worked very hard, but just could not make progress. She was discouraged and disliked doing her math homework. We decided to start tutoring at Mathnasium. The staff and tutors are all very positive and energetic. The curriculum is organized,focused and progressive. Now our daughter loves math, she really enjoys going to Mathnasium and she also thinks everyone at the center is wonderful and fun. She ended 5th grade with her first A in math and now in 6th Grade she is maintaining that A!

I've been wanting this experience for her for a few years and with a bit of assistance from family with the high cost, we were able to experience the one on one mathematical adventure to bring confidence and understanding into her foundation. I only wish there were more Mathnasium centers in the St. Petersburg/Gulfport area so that the program can work better with life's full schedules.

Director and folks have gone beyond expectations to help appropriate tutoring sessions despite child's un-predictive appointment's times due to parents custodial issues...

Suggestion- Open a few mornings or lunch hours during week would be nice.
I think the staff work well with my son and his focus in school is better when he attends Mathnasium.

My one child has always struggled with math so I decided to enroll all three of my children seeing as how school has become so stressful for my nieces and nephews. Now I'm finding that not only is my daughter "up to speed" and working at her grade level but my other two children are learning 1-2 grade levels above. There is an overall positive environment and my children get to "buy" things with the cards they earn by doing work. They leave happy, most of the time...I mean it is math after all. They each have their favorite instructors and honestly I can tell them the correct answer but now the schools want them to break the numbers into groups and "understand" why numbers become other numbers. I grew up memorizing not understanding math so now I have no problem saying "that's not how mommy was taught." They also teach them some math tricks that help them navigate this new childhood where kindergarten has become first to second grade. ( you may use my comment not my name)

It's great but I wish you would open a little earlier like 2:00pm instead of 3:00
