My daughter’s enthusiasm for math has increased significantly along with her confidence to tackle longer or more complex problems. She has also learned multiple ways to approach math problems, which has decreased the time she takes per problem, so she completes math assignments more quickly now.

Mathnasium has been great for our 2nd grader, who now feels more confident tackling math problems in general and has been taught several approaches to more efficiently solving different types of math problems as well.
We love Mathnasium and specifically the staff at the Pasadena location. Victoria is the most helpful employee ever, especially since I am not tech savvy and constantly forget my account password! My daughter feels very safe attending in person sessions during the pandemic. The center itself is very clean, good air circulation and the kids stay spaced apart. My daughter needs in person instruction to learn and Mathnasium has really helped during school closure!

Mathnasium has done wonders for my son’s confidence in math. We do the online classes, and he is currently a grade ahead, thanks to these classes. He was counting with his fingers when we first started, and now he’s doing multiplication! We just started second grade, for reference.

The communication from Mathnasium during Covid has been very good to let us know the options between lessons online and back on site. We utilized the online lessons for several months and there and the technology was very good and when on site opened up, we went back. We found both methods to be well organized and safe. Now that school has started we specifically asked Victoria to arrange review sessions for an upcoming placement test and she responded quickly, created a lesson plan, and wrote a very thorough recommendation letter for us to present to the school. We really appreciate the attention and service.

We are currently enrolled in the @home sessions, which our daughter looks forward to. The instructors are are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Victoria is also great and is always available to answer or address any concerns. Due to our great experience, we are always telling our friends how amazing the Pasadena location is! Victoria at Pasadena location is the BEST! She is great with communication, very helpful and I feel she really cares about my child's progress. I actually have never had a poor encounter with any staff here. Since coming back from COVID closure, my daughter feels safe and as long as their numbers and safety protocols stay the same, I feel good as well. My daughter needs the in person instruction.

All of the instructors are really helpful and patient. They could explain math problems very well. They laid out a great program for my daughter so she gain confidence in math.
The one on one experience has been great for my son except there are usually delays in starting or some kind of glitch in the system. I do like the change in instructors so my son is exposed to different teaching styles.
Victoria and Titus are always making sure that my son is getting the most out of his time at Mathnasium.

My son was failing math and hated the subject. Mathnasium was recommended by a friend and we decided to try it out. He’s been going for about two months and we’ve already seen improvement in his math scores. Instead of failing tests he’s now passing them. His confidence level has increased too. He enjoys going to Mathnasium and enjoys the counselors and the environment they create. They make Math fun!

A very supportive environment for my boys to learn and grow in math. The boys always say, I didn’t understand but once the tutors explained in different ways, I got it! I feel sooo relief and we can move on to other things. My youngest son just got his overall semester test back, and he scored almost a perfect score!
