Mathnasium continues to offer ongoing support for our son, a Grade 10 student. The setting allows and encourages him to work independently, or quickly reach out for immediate support from one of the knowledgeable and friendly tutors. We have used mathnasium regularly over the last six years and I often recommend their services to friends and families of the students that I teach. They provide written and verbal feedback whenever needed. A great experience all round.

My son was in grade 7 this past academic year and he started with Mathnasium 1 year ago (end of grade 6/entering grade 7). He has told me that Mathnasium has helped closed the gap in his understanding of math and that it has been beneficial having the Mathnasium tutors as another learning option to school. This past spring he participated in the Gauss math competition run by the University of Waterloo and he got a certificate indicating he scored in the top 25% of all participants. My daughter has had amazing improvement at school since she has been working with the awesome teachers at Mathnasium. She always loves to go to her sessions and finds the staff super helpful and fun to learn with. Her brother will now be joining her as well! Mathnasium gave to my daughter lots of support and guidance on how to improve her math skills. She has learned skills that have reinforced the school program. She feels now more confident and also she improves her marks at school. They have an effective curriculum for teaching. The staff is amazing and you can feel a positive teamwork atmosphere.

My daughter went from struggling in her math classes to receiving her first A on her last report card. She has much more confidence in math now and enjoys it so much more.
Program is well designed and executed allowing students an opportunity for success.

The only issue I have is that she is highly reactive to candy and candy is the treat that is given. I wish it was switched to something else. Alternatively, the parents should be asked prior to giving candy to the children.
