My daughter scheduled her tutorials around those tutors that were best able to assist her. There were times when there wasn't a tutor that was able to assist her based on lack of knowledge on the topic. Overall, Mathnasium helped her learn, progress, and feel more confidant in calculus.
I was concerned that my eighth grader would be held back and so I signed her up for tutoring. All of my expectations have been greatly exceeded.

Patient, knowledgeable staff. They do make both of my children feel welcome, safe and capable of achieving. Good communication with the parents and availability. The reward system is a great motivator. My children will also more readily gravitate to math games online or as apps so math has become something fun and more than just an academic subject.

Lilly loves coming to Mathnasium! The Teachers are all knowledgeable in the subject areas and are wonderful with students of all ages and grade levels. Lilly is given lots of encouragement and recognized for all of her hard work. She is much more confident in her math skills and her teachers have noticed that her overall confidence in all her ablilities has also increased! My child looks forward to her sessions at Mathnasium, primarily because of the relationships she's formed with several of the center's instructors. As a high school student, she relates to the center's college-aged tutors really wall and is encouraged to interact with college students who are math-oriented, but not stereotypical, pocket-protector wearing math nerds.
After almost every sessions, without fail, she remarks about her experience of learning a new, simpler way of executing mathematical concepts or receiving instruction in a way that fits her needs as a verbally-oriented learner.
My daughter has enjoyed learning at Mathnasium and it has translated into an average score of 102% for the first six weeks grading period. They do a great job of mixing instruction on new topics and working on completing homework.
Our daughter loves the program and enjoys learning from the college students who are working with her.
