Mathnasium in Herndon is a great place.
We have tried many centers but Kris here is wonderful with my son. My son needs a specific type of setup, and Kris makes that happen. Highly recommend this place for your kids if they need the support in Math. They have a knowledgeable set of instructors and Kris is personally involved in each students success which is great to see. Thanks Kris for all your support and willingness to help my son.

We've been to other education center - but THIS Mathasium under Kris sets the standard. Why? For our children Kris is present and personable and gets to know each of their needs - other centers SAY THIS - Kris DOES IT (Acta Non Verba). He also helps them with the CURRENT Math homework....other centers leave the parents and the kids flounder on their own and they only do their program at the center. The other center's approach is like working in a salt mine! Kris gives us a progress report that actually makes sense and easily shows the child's progress. As other extra curricular activities impact our sessions Kris is flexible and lets us work them in as we can or modify the sessions. Highly recommend this program over others - Highly recommend THIS center - over others.

Great center, kids love going there and learning.
The instructors are great and they got my daughter in kindergarten to listen and learn math.
We are so appreciative of the individualized attention and flexibility of schedule and assignments given to our kids. We are thankful that they can bring their math homework here and get extra help and also prepare for tests. We couldn't be happier.
My kid has been going 2 months now , he likes this institute .Chris is nice and responsive person. It’s too early to say about my kid growth but I feel he is improving.
Mathnasium does an excellent job understanding my students current capabilities and where they need to grow. They help ensure true mathematical understanding, not just the mechanics of getting the correct answer.
Overall, we have found Mathnasium to be very flexible with our schedule and committed to finding a schedule and learning solution that works best for our students.

My son likes the teachers , he learns a lot
Our daughter has improved her knowledge of mathematics and pays more attention to learning mathematics since she's started going to Mathnasium. She isn't always enthused about going to what she still sees as an extension of school beyond the school day. Nonetheless, she doesn't resist going, and that's telling. Once she's there, it's clear that she enjoys interacting with her instructors and with other students, and her visits there mean she's learning a little more than she would have learned only at school. Her mathematics scores at school have improved. Overall, we're happy with the Mathnasium program. I do wish, however, that no so many sweets were offered as rewards. Perhaps a parent-teacher brainstorm meeting could produce some new alternative rewards. Also, having some larger and more tangible rewards that children can strive and save for might be a good idea. The children themselves might offer some clues as to what it is they really would go for.
My freshman geometry grade was improved within a short time. Plus now he understand the principal behind it, which is great. They will continue to receive my business throughout my son upcoming education ladder for sure.
Both our boys, 7 & 10, love going to Mathnasium. They enjoy the rewards system and they find the work fun and challenging. It's really helped them with their focus and learning and the enjoy explaining what they'd learned to us after a session.
I do wish they were open on Fridays, though, as our sports schedules are crazy during the week and Fridays are one day we could take them both without having the rush to/from, but otherwise it's been a great experience for us all.
