Last year my then 15 year old was struggling in his grade 10 math class. Going to Mathnasium gave him the confidence he needed to approach math learning with a more positve attitude. His grades and his confidence went up.
I like that the kids follow a learning plan and are assessed on progress, and then refocus on areas that are weak.
It would be nice to get a periodic update (quarterly) on their progress and what areas they may be struggling in.
Program is excellent but quite expensive because the rates are similar to those for a private tutor. However, Mathnasium does a great job of keeping kids interested and engaged with Math.

Mathnasium has been a amazing experience for our daughter who lacked the self confidence and knowledge of math needed to thrive. Since joining a year ago, we quickly saw a new child emerge that was happier, more confident and better marks across the board. Teachers are excellent. My daughter never complains about going to Mathnasium Well worth every penny.

Really increase our daughter's confidence with math. When she started with Mathnasium she was struggling. By the end of the school year she was helping her classmates with math problems and she finished the year with a great mark!

Mathnasium has excellent teachers who follow the school curriculum grade she is in so when the math concepts are taught in school she is able to understand and be successful in her learning as relearning as repetition is known to be so important in school. She brings all her math test in and they take time to review what she did well in and go over the mistakes to ensure she understands what she didn't answer correctly. She doesn't dread math in school which allows her to enjoy school overall. Due to her increased confidence, not only has her math marks gone up but all of her marks have gone up. My only regret is we didn't enrol when we saw her struggling last year.
My daughter enjoys going to Mathnasium. She also has noticed an improvement in her grades. It has given her the confidence she needs to know she can accomplish doing well in math with hard work.

Mathnasium offers a supportive environment that my son actually wanted to attend. His math confidence improved greatly and this has transferred over to other subjects. He was doing the program for enrichment but the support they offer for homework is also ideal. The time of week is flexible which is perfect for a busy famil and well worth the investment in your child's success.
