Victoria and her staff, at the Fort Wayne location, could not be any nicer. It’s not simply a job to them, they enjoy what they are doing.
They are positive and patient. It would not work if they didn’t teach that way. They convey the lesson in a way the kids can understand and complete the answer correctly. Kids will go from frustrations to having a sense of pride. It takes the stress off me as a parent.
It is a financial investment, but if you can do it please give it a try. It will be worth it !!!!
My daughter loves going to Mathnasium and never wants to quit going! She says it really helps her with understanding her math.
The staff at Mathnasium are young people who genuinely connect with your child and are able to articulate the material presented at school one-on-one and in a way that is systematic, and makes sense. Math was difficult for my daughter partially because of how it was being presented at school and not explained. Since being enrolled at Mathnasium for several months she is grasping the concepts, completing work and scoring well on tests.
She is enjoying achievement and personal satisfaction because of what she is able to do.
We have two sons that both utilize the tutoring services at Mathnasium and Todd is terrific. He educates but is also a mentor and confidant with our boys. We appreciate all that Mathnasium has done to increase their confidence.

Mathnasium has made a huge impact on the confidence of my grand daughter, Kharma. Kharma was always an Honor Student and when she entered fourth grade, she had a very hard time with her multiplication. She cried when she got her first failing grade.
I searched for tutors for days and when I came upon Mathnasium, it was a dream come true!! Kharma was so excited to receive such personal and professional help and we went five days a week for an hour a day. She looked so forward to every appointment. She caught on to the basics, exceeded in her multiplication and beyond in just two months.
I would very much recommend Mathnasium to anyone who is struggling in math and the confidence that goes along with it.

Mathnasium is able to successfully "fill in the blanks" from what may be missing from school instruction. Middle School/High School students rarely raise their hands with a question in a large group, but at Mathnasium they are likely to feel more comfortable in a one-on-one situation.
The material is simply explained in terms my child can understand and the instructors are able to meet her right at the point she is in her understanding and help her to progress.
She is growing in confidence.

As a teacher and a parent, I have been so impressed with the progress my daughter made in Mathnasium. Not only has the gap been significantly decreased in a year, her NWEA scores jumped dramatically, as did her confidence. She has always disliked math, and been afraid of it. She still does not love math, but she doesn't mind it as much anymore. We will definitely be back if there is need in the future.
Victoria is caring and interested in the students and families she serves. She works hard to make sure she hires enthusiastic and well qualified employees, who in turn encourage and teach the students the math skills they need.
As a former educator, I was impressed with the great learning environment. The pedagogy was excellent. The program will benefit all students.
We are very happy with Mathnasium! We wish they were open five days a week in the summer though, so we could go even more!
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My son is being taught math in a way that makes sense to him.
My daughter is always in such a good mood when she leaves Mathnasium. I asked her why that is and she said that they actually teach her how to work the problems, unlike her school teacher, who just lectures using notes and then sits at her desk with her back to the class while they practice (not even noticing when they have their hand raised needing help). She also gets the help she needs for her homework while she is also learning material that she previously failed to learn in the past.

Lauren has attended Mathnasium in previous school years. We took her out of it for a brief time due to busy schedules. But her grade on her midterm math exam was the final straw. I was looking at Mathnasium and another local tutoring place. We chose Mathnasium because we like how we can go everyday including Saturdays and it was cheaper than the other place I was looking at. At the other place she could only go once a week and it was more expensive. She goes to tutoring everyday, especially before math quizzes, tests, and especially exams. Because they work with her everyday and review with her before test and quizzes her math grade has been holding steady at an "A". She actually got a 105% on her recent math test. Until Mathnasium that was unheard of. So it's clear to see that she is where she needs to be. Lauren also loves her tutors and Victoria. They teach math to her in a way that she understands it. They take time with her to make sure she getting it and Victoria is the best. They have eliminated a lot of Lauren's stress because she is now more confident because she understands math. She leaves Mathnasium with an understanding of her math. Which in turn allows her to go to school feeling confident that she understood the previous days lesson so she can build on it in the coming days. And she feels more prepared for tests because she fully understands the concept. Mathnasium is exactly what she needed! Thank you to all of you, you are making a big difference in the lives of the kids that you tutor.

I have seen great improvement with my daughters confidence in completing her math assignments. She works more independently now and her test score are improving each week at school. She has hated math but now is exited to come to Mathnasium and sit down at home to do homework. Thank you!

We have been so pleased with the positive attitude our daughter has had at Mathnasium. She enjoys going and is growing in her confidence in Math. So far, it has been a great investment in her future. The one downfall is the large ratio of students to adults at times. I know it is difficult to project the amount of staff you need when it is a walk in program, so we have just tried to send our daughter during the dinner hour, in hopes that less students will be there.
My son, Alexander, really enjoys coming. He feels welcome, and he feels like his sessions are helping him. It only took one quarter for him to noticeably raise his grade.
