The staff at Mathnasium are very delineated and helpful. They keep you posted about the progress your kids make at the end of each month. The progress report provide detail scores and it gives you a snapshot as which skill is acquired and what need to be work at.

You are following a systematic format for learning math skills, beginning right where the child tests. Tutors I have used in the past have ended up just helping the child with their homework, not teaching them math skills that build on where they test.

Brooklyn loves to come to Mathnasium. She is really struggling in Math at school, but I know that all her work with Mathnasium will eventually help her do better in math class. It has only been about a month but we are starting to hear my daughter speak about math with excitement. There was a computer game played by her math teacher at school and it was regarding ratios. Just some of the stuff she has worked on at Mathnasium recently. She was pleased to do really well on the game at school.
We like that Brooke can take the class at her own pace. Also, when she is very busy with other activities, we can take a break with no penalty or extra fee.
Our daughter has been attending to Mathnasium for over 2 years now, and we are very pleased with the results. Her math skills continue to improve gradually. She still likes going 3 times per week.
