We started in the summer, so my son could be more confident with his math skills as he entered middle school. It’s helped so much that we chose to continue the program into the school year. My daughter was able to bring up her high school math grade with the help of the Almaden Mathnasium staff. Tutoring time was wisely divided between foundational skills she needed based on the Mathnasium assessment, and assistance with her homework.

You get rewarded for your work and all of the instructors are kind and knowledgeable. I like how Mathnasium lets us have 30 minutes for our PKs and 30 minutes for our workout book because you get to do multiple things. I also like that you can move between PKs. (written by 8 & 10 yr old students).

Going to Mathnasium has been the best experience for my son. He had lost his confidence and interest in math and with the help and guidance of the wonderful instructors he regained his confidence and curiosity. I have seen marked improvement in his grades and overall demeanor with regards to math. Mathnasium also provides a loving and enriching experience which makes my son actually looks forward to attending.

My daughter absolutely enjoys her time at Mathnasium. I especially like the one on one and I have told a few of my friends about it. Some have actually enrolled their kids too. I wish I had known about it earlier!

My 15 year-old daughter has been going to Mathnasium for almost a year now and I have nothing but good things to report. Her math grade has improved from a D/F to an A/B and her self-confidence in her math skills has increased drastically! As a sophomore in high school she is getting the help she needs to carry her through more advanced math as a junior and senior moving forward and she will definitely continue her sessions to graduation. My child loves Mathnasium of Almaden. We have been there for 9 months now. She has so much fun there that she doesn't mind that she's doing one hour of math each visits. I can't get her to do one hour of math at home so this is a slam dunk for us. All of the instructors are great and the owners are wonderful, kind people.
The personalized plan that is tailored to the student is what I loved about Mathenesium the most. It allows each student to progress at their own pace giving them sufficient time to master a concept rather than moving on to the next. I also think the teachers make the learning experience fun which made my daughter want to go learn Math!
