We sign our 7th and 6th grader up for their Summer program so they don't lose too much math knowledge over the break. The kiddos love the instructors, curriculum, and environment. Thanks for always making them feel safe and pushing them past barriers when they feel stuck.
Our 5th grader has been struggling with math pretty much all year in 4th grade, so we decided to find a math tutor. He started going to Mathnasium in the summer and continued as the school year started. It has not been very long ( just a few months), but he loves it. His confidence in his ability to solve math problems is noticeable already. He goes there without a fuss and looks like he actually enjoys practicing math now. Will highly recommend. Friendly, clean and adhere to COVID precautions ( also offer online one-on-one tutoring if you don’t feel comfortable taking your child for in person socially-distanced lessons. Give it a try, you will not regret it.
Our son has received help from Mathnasium for years. He is now a Junior in Highschool and Mathnasium is still the best Math tuition model for him. Since this pandemic started , Mathnasium quickly put in place "at home" appointments. The flexibility to get help from home at a chosen time is wonderful. I would always highly recommend Mathnasium to any parents whose child struggles in Math.
My daughter started Mathnasium to boost her Math progress in school before COVID times. We were so happy that they stepped-up and hosted virtual tutoring sessions "on the fly". It's allowed her to make time for Math, otherwise, we probably would be way behind. She always had problems asking questions in class, but now with virtual learning, she has the confidence to ask for help and even has been discussing her strategies during schoolwork with other classmates!
All of the tutors have been super friendly and patient. They manage to keep her attention during the whole session. Chris, the director, keeps in communication and has been quickly responsive to requests. Super thankful for Mathnasium, especially during these difficult times for public education!
We love Mathnasium! My kids enjoy going for their lessons and are making excellent progress. Great to have in the center learning and online options.
Mathnasium has really helped our daughter reach 7th grade level math. She gets the repetition of problems and guidance on solving as needed. They always help with homework also!

I have nothing but great things to say about Mathnasium in South Beaverton! My daughter truly enjoys the tutors at this center and it's really having a positive effect on her math skills. The center is extremely flexible and helpful with any questions that I have. This has definitely been one of the best investments in our child's education so far.

We love the new access to online tutoring. During the pandemic our son Joshua received one on one tutoring online from Mathnasium. Once again Chris Johnson and his team have been essential to our son's success in geometry. Mathnasium's team has been very flexible and even worked out a summer program to help Joshua start his next year with strong bases in geometry and algebra. I strongly recommend Mathnasium on Barrows Road in Tigard to any parents for their children who might need help to understand Math and succeed at school.

Chris runs a fantastic program. The staff are all qualified empathetic tutors who really connect well with the students. This is all the more important during quarantined remote learning as it’s difficult sometimes for students to follow along what’s going on in a virtual self paced classroom. I highly highly recommend Mathnasium for any parent looking to get their kids the extra help they need to succeed.
Mathnasium has a great program and excellent teachers who help your child or teen learn at their own pace! It has helped my son exponentiall!
During COVID-19, they are offering online instruction, which is a great solution because the teachers can give one-on-one help with math over zoom. My son loves this because he is enjoying being able to connect with his Mathnasium teachers and continue learning math skills in a fun way during this otherwise lonely time.
My son loves Mathnasium because of the nice atmosphere and very good teachers.
