Being new to Mathnasium, I feel that I would have liked to have the curriculum for my child explained to me.
My daughter has learning differences due to her genetic disorder. Mathnasium “got” my child. They recognized what she needed to focus on and what wasn’t important. Shelby was patient and made math fun. For the 1st time my daughter looked forward to going to math class.

We love mathnasium! Both my kids have been attending this summer and it has been a lifesaver. No tears and no arguing about doing math. They love to spend 2-3 hours a week practicing math problems and taking mastery checks. Mathnasium makes learning math fun and I am positive they will be more than prepared this fall when school starts.

It is a great place for children to understand math in depth, but it is a little too expensive.
This is a great place to go for extra math practice and personalized math help.
I have observed that Valerie and the staff really know their students and what is unique about the way each of them learns. Not every center makes the same connections with their students. I always recommend the Preston Forest location for that very reason. I am a teacher and have sent numerous students to Mathnasium for support. I am also a parent with a child attending since the center opened in North Dallas. I have watched Mathnasium grow in popularity and the program works. But, I believe the staff is what makes North Dallas Mathnasium unique.

My son really did not care for Math It was a struggle doing homework. We joined last summer and he is above 100 average at St Marks! He LOVES Math and asks to go to Mathnasium everyday after school!!
My daughter used to cry and get so frustrated when she had to do math homework. It was terrible for her self esteem. Now she likes math and has the tools that she learned at Mathnasium to make it much easier for her.
I have used Mathnasium for 4 years for both my children. They have been essential in preparing the children for school and the ISEE. Great results.
The team is extremely caring and supportive.
The books take too long to complete and, therefore, closing gaps is an uphill battle.
I believe this is our daughter's third year at Mathnasium and we have been thrilled with her continual progress. She enjoys being a Mathlete and her grades reflect that the strategies for learning Math at Mathnasium truly work. Valerie does a great job selecting teachers too.

Mathnasium has been a great experience for our child Aiden so far. He has only been going there for the past 3 weeks to a month and his grades, confidence, and attitude about Math has improved drastically. Plus, he gets rewarded when he completes an assignment which he really likes.
