The Falls Church, VA staff is AWESOME. We are very appreciative of the staff's support for our son. He is doing a bit better in school: he still failed the SOL and tested below average on the math inventory for 8th graders but after ten months of working with various Mathnasium staff his confidence in math is improving. We are very grateful to the group and look forward to the continued growth. We really want him to stand solidly for 9th grade next fall. Thank you for still staying open during COVID and figuring out the new methods to keep instruction going on line.

We feel confident that our son is meeting and exceeding his math learning expectations. With schools first closed and then online we were concerned about our ability to help him. He gets on well with his tutors who are patient and experienced.
The staff and teachers are fantastic. They are very positive in their approach, making sure to encourage and not discourage the kids. My son leaned a lot from them.
Our sons have attended Mathnasium for almost two years, and we are very happy with their progress and mastery of math-one of the best decisions we have made. Two years ago we returned from overseas and although our oldest son was not behind in math, there were concepts not covered between the two curriculums and he was struggling on occasions. Mathnasium "filled the gaps" and now as a 6th grader he is in the advanced math program and STEAM making A's and enjoying the classes because of his confidence and success. Our younger son continues to develop strong math skills and the extra challenge has kept him engaged in school, especially in this difficult virtual environment. Not only is math one of his stronger subjects, he looks for ways to apply math in every day tasks and asks for "challenges" using math. We have recommended Mathnasium to friends and co-workers with a variety of goals and will continue to sing the praises of Mathnasium.
It's been great
My 8th grader was struggling with virtual school math and suffering from very limited chances to ask questions of his teacher outside class times. Mathnasium helped him get on the right track immediately. Now he feels better about his class overall because he knows if he doesn't understand the material as well as he'd like, he can discuss with his tutor. He feels more confident going into tests, and his stress level is so much lower now.
The reasons for reccomendation are availability of the personnel and the responsiveness. My son asked me to ask for a certain teacher, and then he was paired up with another great teacher last night, making it easier to convince him to work with Mathnasium to breach the gap of this COVID19 lack of learning in school. Thank you very much!
Mathnasium teachers really connect with and "speak the kids' language." They are first-rate!

My son 10th grader went Last year. It was very effective. I would highly recommend Mathnasium who wants grade A for math.
My daughter went from an "E" to an "A" last year thanks to Mathnasium. She continues at that level and says that math in school is too easy. Now, if only someone would come up with a Frenchnasium, Historynasium, Englishnasium...

Mathnasium was the best decision I could have made for my 4th graders math education. The online instruction model is absolutely fantastic! My son really liked the instructors and has a new confidence in his math abilities. Math was the last subject he wanted to do for school, now it’s first.

The instructors do an amazing job, they have helped our son so much over the past year. With COVID-19 occurring and the change to the way we need to do things, Mathnasium made the transition to online learning seamless. Our son still gets to interact with his instructors and gets through just as much as he did when attending in person. The team at Mathnasium are always friendly and make learning a whole lot more fun!
