My daughter has had a great experience at Mathnasium. It has helped her so much. And she loves the instructors.
Angela spends time with families to talk about each child’s needs and goals (though some times these goals are really the oarents’ goals). She has helped us find a better slot for our youngest child, who is easily distracted. She also understands how the local public schools teach math and how Mathnasium can support a student’s work in school.
Mathnasium has helped my son gain more confidence with Math. Center is also flexible with scheduling which is helpful when school tests pop up.
My son Viktor’s math grade has gone up and he is actually enthusiastic about going to tutoring! Thank you!

Great program. Helped my daughter who was struggling with Math. Her grades were slipping. And mathnasium helped her bring them up and keep them up.
I have seen an improvement in my son's understanding of math in the two months he has attended the program. My son's mathematical understanding and fact fluency is evident as he solves his math homework. The Mathnasium team is flexible and promotes math as a fun topic.

My daughter started Mathnasium 30 days into the 6th grade school year because, while she was averaging a "C" grade overall, she was getting "F" on all quizzes and tests. When I questioned her about her why she was getting F on her tests, she said, "Mom, I don't know what I don't know!" Mathnasuim evaluated her working knowledge of math, discovered which concepts she "didn't know" and created an individualized teaching plan to teach her those concepts. She is now ending 7th grade with an "A" in Math. I find that there is a value added beyond the "A", the great tutors and the program offered by Mathnasium of Montclair: Mathnasium gave her "Math confidence", and that she will have forever. Would I recommend Mathnasium of Montclair? You bet I would!
