My son started 8th grade this year in Algebra 1. After his first exam (prior to starting Mathnasium), he received a 78 and was struggling with most of his classroom material.
I immediately called Mathnasium and literally had my son in that night for help.
Fast forward 4 months, and my son raised his semester grade to a 93. Earning him an “A” in Algebra, as well as being named Student of the Month in December.
Unequivocally, especially during Covid and remote schooling, I give Mathnasium and their staff a huge part of the credit.
I would encourage any parent to supplement what their child is learning in school , with Mathnasium.

So...it's almost two years that our son has been working with Mathnasium of Washington Township. He has made super strides in his math skills and currently completes his work almost entirely independently. However he is not ready to part ways with our Mathnasium; nor are we. Despite his improved ability to understand math concepts and work competently in his Freshman Algebra class, there are still gaps in his knowledge base. This is where Mathnasium has been our saving grace. Their program identifies the gaps and sets about filling them. We believe that this is why our son is able to pick up new concepts on par with his peers and in a workable amount of time. No more falling behind!

Bob and his team have done an amazing job continuing to offer top level math instruction at Mathnasium. They went virtual in April and made that experience amazingly easy to use and now that they reopened their center, for in person learning, has made it possible to stay safe and feel safe while in his center.

Kids love it and I see improvement and confidence
Our 13 year old daughter has been attending Mathnasium now virtually but previously in person for 5+ years. She is a math whiz and loves math but was so far ahead in school she needed a challenge. Mathnasium was able to offer her that and help her succeed in school and provide feedback to the teachers who then gave her more challenging work. The school and Mathnasium continue to work as a team to keep my daughter above her grade level and she always scores above the national average on testing. The instructors at Mathnasium expect her to explain her reasoning for her answers whether correct or not and guide her through when she experiences difficult or answers incorrectly. They never become frustrated or just provide her the answer. I have often heard the instructors tell her that her methods of rationalizing her way to the answer are interesting and correct though there are also other ways that may be less complicated if she would like to know them. After all these years my daughter still looks forward to her hour or more per visit having her abilities challenged or, sometimes, even challenging the instructors. She likes telling me how many pages she finished each visit and she really likes Bob, the owner of Mathnasium and a really caring and friendly man. Tell him a math joke and you will win him over.

The people at Mathnasium are super understanding. With all that has been going on with COVID-19 my daughter can't always make her assigned time and they are very flexible with scheduling.
My son has been attending Mathnasium for 2 academic years now heading into our third. He still willingly goes and enjoys his hour. He has loved working with each teacher. And Mr. Bob (the owner) always says or does something to make him smile (or roll his eyes and giggle) which he always looks forward to. My son says "the teachers help you until you understand and make you feel smart when sometimes you don't feel that way." The amount of progress he made is amazing. If your child is struggling in Math, I highly recommend Mathnasium. It is worth the money.
I highly recommend Mathnasium. Our daughter is starting school this year CONFIDENT she will get straight A's. Only thing impeding her doing soon previously was Math! Bob and his wife have helped her to achieve a confidence in math that she thought was unattainable. The instruction is worth every penny!
We have used the online tutoring this summer and it has been wonderful. It has kept the kids on track with math while reinforcing any concepts they may have missed this past school year.
My daughter has been tutored by Mathnasium since just before Covid hit. She had some in person tutoring sessions and then we had to switch to online tutoring because of Covid. The tutors are all very nice and helpful and really got her through a difficult subject. She is still working with the tutors in order to get ready for her next math class. The online tutoring program is very convenient since my work schedule has varied from week to week with Covid. I don’t have to worry about running around to make sure she gets there in time.
My son’s math grade improved by 2 letter grades since we started at Mathnasium.
