Since my daughter has started at Mathnasium her love of math has returned and she is doing wonderfully in school. I can tell the tools being used at Mathnasium, support my daughter in understanding the math and having confidence to do her best! My son was always hesitant to ask for help and has struggled academically. Once he joined Mathnasium Scarsdale, he became comfortable and rather willing to ask for help. I believe it's because the atmosphere is kids-friendly and casual and the staff like Director, Nick and Assistant Director, Joy, are knowledgeable and kind.
Our kids improved not just math but overall subjects, especially because their attitude and mindset towards academic has changed so much. We are quite happy to see their growth as they are now more proactive and communicate better with others.

My daughter has learning differences. Math is especially tough. She has had many tutors, but none have taught her in a way that she understands the material. Nick has been tutoring my daughter for several years and without his guidance and help my daughter wouldn’t have done as well. He is an excellent tutor. So grateful to him!

My daughter, Maya started attending Mathnasium in 1st grade. She wasn't struggling in Math but we decided to try it after going to Math Night in our school. We thought we'd try for a few months. 5 years later, she's still going 2x/week. Mathnasium did not only help her grades (100 Final grade in 5th grade, 100 in both marking periods in 6th) but more importantly, it made her LOVE Math. She has gained so much confidence especially now that she's learning harder concepts. She has had wonderful teachers through the years- Linda, David, Nick and Joy. Thank you!
For 7 years (Grades 5 through 12) Mathnasium has been a most welcome and necessary presence in my daughter's education. When your child needs a deeper understanding of lessons briefly taught in school, Mathnasium tutors find a method that work for your child and that he/she will understand in order to grasp challenging math concepts. My daughter has always looked forward to going to Mathnasium and she has become confident in math. Her excellent grades are proof. My advice is dont wait until your child is struggling to reach out. Mathnasium makes math fun and can provide a stable environment that can also keep your child a step ahead and feel empowered. Mathnasium has been amazing! Especially Joy and Nick! They have been knowledgeable and understanding. There are great with the students and look for the best way for the student to grasp the material. I would highly recommend Mathnasium in Scarsdale. The students will learn and feel comfortable! Both of our kids, 8th & 11th grades, love the tutors and atmosphere at Mathnasium. Nick, Joy and other tutors are friendly, welcoming and talented. Our kids never wanted to get tutoring before, but now both are willing and excited to go to Mathnasium as they know they will get the right help. Our 11th-grade son has been struggling with Math for a while and was about to give up. Since he started going to Mathnasium, his attitude has changed and been making progress both mentally and academically. We appreciate both Nick and Joy and highly recommend Mathnasium!!

Mathnasium in Scarsdale is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and patient. Especially one specific tutor by the name of Joy. She has a wonderful teaching ability that makes the student feel comfortable and confident in doing their work. Nick is also very nice and runs the location well. I would definitely refer them to everyone who needs math help. My advice if there is a child that needs help with their mathematics, this is the location and the teachers to help! Do not hesitate to place your child with their teaching capabilities.

Great experience for my girls!
Raiden has improved his Math skills significantly over the past year. He has enjoyed coming to meet with his respective Math tutors. Furthermore, the outside events that they hold from movie night to PI Day have been very fun for Raiden. We have recommended friends to join Mathnasium and will continue to do so.
