Client Testimonials
I love how everyone makes you feel welcomed and always there to help and cheer you on. Even when I think I can't do something, they are right there to assure me that I can. I am so much more confident and definitely stronger. By far the best workout in town! I love the MADabolic family!
Ashley was great at easing me into the workout. Knowing it was my first time, she helped me understand to listen to my body and even helped me pivot when needed if the original circuit station needed to be adjusted to accommodate me. Looking forward to continuing this journey.
The exercise break down is great!!
I get to learn about the mechanics and movements as they break down each exercise.
Valuable sh**!🔥
I love the diversity of the workouts. They’re always different. The trainers and other members always push me.
Coming from someone who hasn’t had a regular workout routine for a long time, the is definitely the place to get me going again. The trainers have all been really helpful and encouraging. I would recommend anyone interested to stop and give it a try!
Great fun and lots of support at class from staff and other members
Great people. Outstanding at motivating and feeling everyone feel welcome. All skill sets!

Friendly staff, varied workout moves and scheduling, tier system that works for different levels of fitness ability
Hey team!
Not sure if this is a one and done feedback box or if it’ll generate additional questions, so I’m dropping everything here :)
Here’s the deal. I don’t really enjoy working out. It’s not something that I feel like I want to do. In fact, if I don’t workout, I don’t miss it. But dang. If I’m away, I miss MADabolic! As in, I can’t wait to return, despite working out being something that I’m not super passionate about. What’s up with that? :)
As for South End, I’m excited about a new HVAC system (or at least thermostat). Honestly, it was a long time coming and the Thursday class in July where it was an actual sauna during the 5:30pm and someone walked out mid workout, was a health hazard. I’ve never been so miserable simply walking onto the training floor, let alone during the workout with sweat pouring off of everyone. When the trainer is visibly sweating during the demo and warmup, and commenting on it, that’s a red flag. Y’all are lucky no one passed out in class - which was a VERY possible outcome and talked about during rest periods. I would like to suggest, since MADabolic is not Hot Yoga, that in a dire need, oscillating floor fans are plugged into the electrical outlets that are available around the perimeter of the training floor. Air flow would be huge. And maybe even those shades over the lobby windows can be added to the training floor doors South Blvd side to mitigate the heat.
I also think it would be nice if the perimeter of the training floor was vacuumed/mopped. The amount of dust bunnies and hair that accumulate in areas that are “blocked until a block or plate or box are used and moved” is kind of gross. Anytime I place my water bottle on the windowsill, or end there, I use a wipe to clean off the ledge since debris accumulates there as well. I’m not sure why, but I do not notice dust/debris/clumps in Elizabeth.
Hopefully you haven’t started to regret asking for feedback :) and everything I’ve shared I would be more than happy to discuss in person.
I’ll end with this. Member activities are great. Hanging outside of MAD is awesome (I feel like the Craft HH was allllllll MAD and maybe 5 “strangers” so great work on that one!!). Charitable giving and joining a MAD team for a cause, outside of the training floor is superb. Maybe even a “MAD For A Cause” group is started for members who want to give back and get involved for anything charitable MAD is signing up for. However, when training (5k) or fundraising is involved, at least a months notice via email, dry erase board, Instagram post, text message, mobile app notification, something, would be HUGE. It kind of hurt my heart yesterday to learn that MADabolic created a Komen Walk team and provided a little over 2 weeks notice. And that’s only if someone caught the Instagram story. I feel like this is an important cause, the Fall season is wildly busy, and important causes deserve at least a months notice. Even a teaser at the bottom of the previous months newsletter of “Coming Soon/Details to Follow” where if someone reads that, is excited, and immediately wants to know more, they can get a head start. And when the official announcement is live, additional people can join. It’s kind of hard to become involved in something with minimal notice when many people plan in advance. I could be way off here, but I just feel like a lot is missed due to a lack of preparation/communication. I also think if a “MAD for a Cause” group existed, a portion of proceeds from member events could be set aside each year to donate to said causes.
While I had a consistent Beth, Dakota, Carol, Cam schedule, which I loved, I did take my first class with Seth and was shockingly impressed. He seems so reserved, but I thought he resembled an even split of Dakota and Cam - commands a room, sees everything, and passionately corrects. While also being a BIG fan of SkiErg mechanics in a very Beth way. The future MAD Huntersville is in good hands!
In closing, I’m not afraid to share observations and suggestions, and while I don’t necessarily enjoy working out, I do love MADabolic in a perfectly strange way, so thank you for that!

The varied structures of the workouts and the coaches feedback
There isn't thing out there like MADabolic.
The North location is a bit hidden, but worthy of finding!
Unique in strength based intervals (not counting reps, calories, etc) which allows performance to be personal to each individual.
The coaches take exceptional care to teach all the movements and help everyone grow to their potential and beyond.
