Our 9-year-old daughter has become an efficient, confident student in mathematics and now approaches different types of math problems with a variety of methods to solve each. She is ahead of grade level in math and now likes the subject, whereas she used to dislike and even dread math before starting Mathnasium.

With math, for some, not being an understandable subject, having instructors that are patient friendly and knowledgeable, will make a big difference in a young childs world in math. Our son has thrived with the individualized tutoring at Mathnasium and the pace of his progress has steadily improved. One noteworthy aspect of his experience is that he has responded and, in fact, enjoyed working with multiple tutors at the Pasadena/Hastings Ranch location. Another benefit is his improvement in his math class at school after a very rocky start with the teacher which speaks to the self-confidence he has found through Mathnasium.

The staff is super supportive and flexible. They work with both of my children to meet their needs in terms of filling in gaps and addressing current topics in their math curriculum. The prize incentives are super motivating as well. My daughter has improved markedly over the course of the year and her confidence has grown. My son has just started, and in spite of his learning disability, is getting the support he needs to make progress. Overall, I am 100% pleased with the service.
Sara and Matthew are great with the kids. The others look a little disinterested in working with kids but otherwise are fine.
