We came to Mathnasium based on a recommendation from a parent of one of our daughter's friends. I was pretty skeptical since we had already tried a large tutoring program in the area. There were promises made about how much she would be able to learn in a short time and how she would advance passed her grade level. What happened instead was little progress and a complete resistance from her to attend sessions.
My daughter was entering high school at this point and we were concerned about her GPA so she could get into a good college. All of her advanced classes were A's but her math grade stayed stubbornly low.
It has been a little over three months now and we just reviewed our daughters progress report. She has come from a low C entering high school to a high B almost an A in just a few short months. That is true, proven progress. A phenomenal program!
I am extremely pleased with the team at the South Shore Mathnasium. They are committed, caring, and dedicated to the students they are helping. They truly do all they can to help the students overcome their fear and intimidation of doing math. My son does so much better when he visits Mathnasium on a regular basis and I am happy that he asks to go! I truly cannot thank the team at the South Shore Mathnasium enough!!
