My 7th grader is smart in math but hates how the school teaches it. Mathnasium has done a great job of "translating" common core into common sense and keeping him going in his advanced math class.

Jake is a fantastic geometry tutor for my 15 year old. He is not only knowledgeable, but personable too. He is dedicated to making sure his students fully understand the material, going above and beyond my expectations. My daughters geometry grade has improved since she started working with Jake. I definitely recommend Jake and the Mathnasium staff.
We started Mathnasium for our younger son Nivrith just a few weeks back and he is already loving the class. The teachers are very friendly and helpful. Great going so far!
We have been with Mathnasium around 5 Months, And the conclusion till today, Is here in Mathnasium Crystal Lake, students come first, with truly care for what’s going on in school and helping them to understand not memorize or be repetitive , acting to find the roots of th issue, so everything else, it’s easier, I had to Mention Mr. Mike (owner) the gentleman who leads this amazing team! And really cares for what it’s going on I’m his academy’s, by the way he leads 4?more places in the area, also you must know that I you ever have an misunderstanding or question he’s always there for you, And I appreciate that,
If your kid is struggling in school for any reason, don’t hesitate to ask the Mathnasium team for help, they know how to switch all those bad grade’s to A+ believe me my kid did it!!!

My daughter has only had a few classes, but we're already seeing an improvement in her confidence with math. She even aced an assignment this week! She always comes out of her sessions smiling and excited to share what she's working on. She truly looks forward to every class.
They are very great on working with my child.

I have no direct contact with mathnasium. Our granddaughter is a student there. We are paying her tuition. I've heard nothing negative from her or family so I would give it a 8.

My daughter loves going to Mathnasium! She loves all of the tutors and I have gotten so much positive feedback from her teacher. Mathnasium has boosted her confidence and made her love math again.
This was a great help for my 2nd grader. In a short amount of time they helped her confidence, and now she is doing math without hesitation. It was extremely helpful for her and got her back on track.

My daughter enjoys going to Mathanasium and likes working with her teachers. She has become more confident in her abilities and is doing well at school. Also, Mike the owner, is very accommodating, polite and engaging.
I really feel like Mathuism is personal and down to earth. I feel like the people, they really care about who they’re helping as individuals. I feel like they really just want to see an individual succeed. My favorite is they get down on the individuals level. At the same time, really just care and love everything them. Vikki, the head teacher who runs it is amazing, the teachers are amazing, everything is great for me and my daughter!!! Also at the same time, her grade is increased two grades since we started!

Do you have a child that might be struggling in math? Do you feel like the parent when you are trying to show them and they just don't understand what your saying. We were those parents. Or maybe your problems may be different from us. Exhausted from work, multiple children with problems or don't know where to turn. Anyone can be a parent. Some animals eat their young. That does not make it right or wrong. If you want the best for your child (your legacy) I can tell you as a parent who has a senior in high school you found the right spot! I am not recommending all Mathnasium. I am recommending Jeremy and his staff at South Elgin. This process doesn't just happen overnight. He has put together a team of young individuals that not only will help your child ,but they have the patience to find out the underlying problems. You will find that your child will like to go to Mathnasium . They even play games and reward them for success. Your child really doesn't want to feel lost in their class. Whatever your situation, if you put in the work at home to create a relationship with Mathnasium with good communication on what happens in class and the evaluations given by the Mathnasium staff, they will help you put your child back on track.Our success has come from being involved with the school teachers, guidance counselor and Mathnasium! Let your children try to do the homework. Mathnasium can help them fix their problems and help them to understand what went wrong and how to fix it.Their system works. I also highly recommend keeping them in summer sessions. It's an hour and it will help them get ahead and transition from grade to grade..When in middle school and especially in high school and college graphing and problem solving play a role in not just math ,but science as well. If you fail one course you may fail both. I can say with our parenting choices and Mathnasium we have put our daughter in a successful plan for almost 8 years. She is a straight A student taking 7 classes All AP and Honors. She has been accepted to every college she has applied to and has a 3.857 gpa. As a senior she is in Honors Calculus and pursuing Biomedical Sciences in college soon. I am so proud and thankful for what we were able to provide to her and her success.The relationship we have built over the years with Jeremy and his staff! and Major shout-out to Andrew tutoring Calculus takes patience. Lastly, when my daughter started she couldn't understand spatial, graphing and even long versions of problem solving. Now look! These words above can't describe our thanks to their team! Mathnasium staff has been very supportive and responsive to my son’s needs. This is a great resource… just wish we would’ve utilized Mathnasium earlier!
