Had great experience with Jozef and his team of teachers supporting my son's success in Mathematics. My son has shown interest in Maths after started in Mathenasium three months ago.
Our daughter was not necessarily pleased about us signing her up to do Mathnasium this summer between her second and third grade years. But from day one, she has been not only learning a lot but having a blast!
The staff is very responsive to my questions and is always helpful. My student feels genuinely welcomed and enjoys going. We’ve had such a positive experience at Mathnasium!

Great environment to learn and practice math
So far Mathnasium is making my kiddo who really resists math, be willing to go and do the work. The positive approach and reward system is genius.
The program is the best, my family is very happy with the results. We will send our son back to the program eventually. Maria and Hanna are the best. My son is now very confident when doing math problems.

We enrolled our now 13 year old daughter 2 years ago at Mathnasium since she was falling behind several grade levels in math in elementary school, the school couldn't provide her the support she needed to fill in the gaps, despite her having an IEP for learning disorders and access to extra support in the SPED room.
We were told the school district don't allow that because they need to teach the children grade level math, where they are expected to be at, no time to make sure the students understand and masters the skills needed before moving on to the next concept.
By doing so, the gap will grow bigger and bigger unless remediation is put in place.
By going to Mathnasium consistent for the past 2 years, several times a week, she has progressed so much and getting closer to reaching grade level expectations.
From not reaching the benchmark to even pass math in elementary school, she got a B when she started middle school, and as of this spring 2022, 7th grade, she got an A!
She also made Honor Roll!
Hard work, consistency, patience and letting her learn at her own pace, with the great understanding and support from her awesome instructors, she has become more confident and relaxed about math.
We will stay with the program for as long as we can since it's benefitting her so much and will help her through the rest of middle school and high school.
The staff is really awesome and caring and well organized in the planning of future sessions, great communication and they are very flexible with scheduling due to personal matters.
I can't thank you enough Mathnasium for what an impact you have done for her and our family.
She enjoys collecting her points and turning them in for prizes, some really nice ones like Lego sets and cute stuffed animals, and she likes wearing her Math shirt for extra points for each session she attends.

Mathnasium helped our daughter reinforce her math facts and improved her confidence immensely! The staff is friendly and positive and the drop in hours allow families to achieve their monthly attendance goals.
My daughter struggles in math and was being left behind because she did not grasp certain concepts. Mathnasium seems to be helping, as promised! My daughter may grumble about going to "math class", but each time she finishes a session, she is in a good mood and talks with more confidence about her progress.

My son goes without complaining. That speaks volumes to me. We get progress reports regularly and he is progressing well.
My child has had a lot of trouble with math and the skills she is learning are exactly what her doctor ordered to help her learn in her own way. Furthermore, the incentive system (filling up cards in exchange for prizes) helps her stay motivated. Our doctor sent us here and her recommendation was warranted.
My son seems to be doing well at Mathnasium. The tutors are helping him work through his math anxiety. So far so good!!!
Mason and crew over at the NE Portland center are absolutely great. Great communicators of Sofia's progress as well as teaching her to enjoy while learning. My daughter never complains about going to Mathansium and her confidence is growing by the day. She is way behind her grade level math but i am certain that we will get to where we need to be with time and your support !!!
