Our 7 year old has had an excellent experience at Mathnasium. She looks forward to going. The team at Mathnasium has actually made her excited about showing up and doing math. She doesn’t feel like she’s getting extra help, she just thinks she’s going somewhere fun to do some math and earn prizes. She has made significant progress in just a few months and we’ve seen her confidence in math grow. We get regular feedback from the team about her progress including interim updates on her completed work and results of formal assessments that guide her advancement through the program. We have been thrilled with her growth. I’m so glad we found Mathnasium.
The kids confidence in math and school overall has definitely been noticed. After two years of COvid and falling behind, the constant Mathnasium has started to bring them back to where they ought to be. Thanks

Mathnasium uses teaching techniques recommended by my child's doctor, as well as common sense pedagogical techniques that I have used myself as both a college professor and a homeschooling parent. I know that my child is finally really learning math, in a way that works for her. Everyone there also seems friendly, welcoming and understanding. When I've needed to explain personal challenges to help them help her better (my child is also dyslexic, making story problems extra challenging), they take such things under advisement and modify the instruction.

Our student has been bringing up his math knowledge via Mathnasium in Lake Oswego for almost one year! We can't believe the difference in his attitude and grades. He has gained confidence in so many areas and I think the guides at Mathnasium deserve the credit.

We're having a great experience. Our child's test scores and progress have taken off. Her scores went the opposite direction of the pandemic and summer decline after only 2 months. She's become extremely confident in all aspects of school as a result of her math success.
The hours are difficult. Being open Friday after school and for a longer time on the weekends helps working parents!
The staff at NE Portland Mathnasium are so nice and try their best to make math fun. Mathnasium is a wonderful resource.
My son loves Mathnasium. We started going because he asked to do more math. It’s been a few months now and it’s one of his favorite after school activities.
My oldest daughter is autistic and has to work harder in reading, writing and arithmetic compared to most. Spending countless hours after school and throughout the summer working on the core subjects over the years.
We tried out Mathnasium because I couldn't find a teaching method that could reach her. She went from being basically a D student to an A student in just a couple of years. Without Mathnasium who knows where she would be.
Educating your child is a commitment and Mathnasium will help you a long, but you and your child must be willing to put in the work.

Nice and friendly staff
My child looks forward to going to Mathnasium, so, they are succeeding in holding his interest. I have seen some minor improvement in his skills. I wish we could afford to keep him enrolled year round. If cost is not a barrier, I highly recommend Mathnasium!
