On the way to our first session at Mathnasium, my 10-yr old daughter, who has struggled for years in math, looked at me sideways in the car and said "I'm going once and never again!" To say she was resistant to math and the idea of math tutoring is an understatement. I dropped her and her little sister off, and came back 30 minutes later to that same 10-yr old rushing over to me excitedly and saying "Mom, Mom, I love this SO much! I want to come back every day!" I almost didn't believe her and when I asked her what she loved so much about it that night at dinner, she said "They give you time to work things out, they teach you HOW to do things (they don't just tell you what to do) and they help you come up with strategies for doing those things faster." Those are her words. She's been at Mathnasium for about 5 weeks now and is absolutely loving it. We're in!

My son has a lot of energy and really likes math. Going to Mathnasium provides with terrific enrichment. He is always excited to go. The instructors make sure he is challenged and keep math fun for him. My family could not be more pleased with his Mathnasium experience.
My kids have participated at two Mathnasium centers in two different states. Both experiences have been incredibly positive, with wonderful leadership. The staff are encouraging , patient and helpful, and the incentives system is very motivating to work hard and earn stars. Both kids are doing well and more importantly, feeling good about math. We think Mathnasium is a great program for any student whether they need help with math or want to gain more math skills than their school is providing. From the student evaluation process to the daily visits, Mathnasium is helpful and professional in all aspects. They are very well organized, and seem to make kids feel good.
I was a teacher, and I always told my students and my own children that math opens doors. Without it, many careers would be out of reach. Everyone needs math!

Our 8-year-old attends Mathnasium 10 times per month. He loves it! Staff are kind and thoughtful and help to motivate him. They are responsive to email when there is an issue, or we forgot how many sessions we have done. I highly recommend this Mathnasium!
Mathnasium has been great so far in our first month. It's difficult to get there as much as we would like with competing commitments to sports and other activities, but we are looking forward to creating a more consistent schedule in the coming months.
