My 9 year old has been at Mathnasium for four months, and goes in-person three times a week. She looks forward to it, and her confidence around math has improved tremendously. She is very motivated by the incentives, but also seems to enjoy the social aspect and the flow of her time there. I have not yet seen how it will impact her grades in math, but I'm loving her confidence. The one thing that holds me back from giving Mathnasium a 10 is the price. It makes me sad that only families who can pay the high fees have access to this wonderful service. Our family has been able to make it work, but many cannot.

Mathnasium has been wonderful for both of our boys. One of them is advanced in math and loves the extra challenge that he cannot get in school. The other was struggling with confidence in math and going to Mathnasium improved that in a very short amount of time. Would definitely recommend for kids at all levels.

The in person and rewards help my daughter stay engaged. I just wish there was a way to get more automated alerts of her progress and what she’s learning

The South Pasadena location is such a great place for my son to learn about math. He really enjoys the teachers there as well as the owners.
My daughter enjoy the atmosphere.
It is educational but also comfortable for her.
Sophia cried daily because she struggled with math. She did not want to go to tutoring because she disliked the challenge. Her attitude toward math has changed completely since she started attending Mathnasium. She enjoys the time she spends with the tutor and she feels accomplished—she is learning and filling in the learning gaps after almost two years of remote learning.
Mathnasium has been good for family. My 2 kids are 2 grade levels ahead.

My son LOVED going to Mathnasium. Teachers were great and the incentives were very motivating for him. My only complaint is that it does not open until 3:00. If it opened at 2:00 when school got out that would be ideal!
The staff at Mathnasium is so so nice and very flexible with appointment scheduling and last minute changes and additions. My daughter is doing well in math, never complains about doing Mathnasium, and can do it virtually which makes it super easy to fit into our lives! Highly recommend!

I want to thank Rae and her stuff members on helping my daughter’s math. she was struggling with math and lost lot confidence on herself. I still remember when we first took my daughter to Mathnasium of West Covina, Rae immediately let out the plan on how they would help and improve my daughter’s math over summer, and I was impressed. In addition, Rae and her stuff has kept close communication with us on how well my daughter’s progress is, and my daughter has really improved her math over summer, and she just got her first 4th math test scored 92% . Thanks again Rae, you have kept and delivered your words, I really appreciated. If your kids have math issues and looking for help , look no further by giving Rae’s center a call, they will provide solutions to your kids.

My daughter had a difficult time learning via the zoom methods during vivid quarantine of 2Phone number removed after being placed in an advanced math placement class in 7th and 8th grade. We reached out to Mathnasium and signed her right up, Mathnasium staff have helped so much that we have been able to decrease tutoring from 3-4 times per week - to calling to drop in only as she needs help with homework! I highly recommend this site and we will definitely be back for any needs our younger daughter may have in the future as well!

Mathnasium in South Pasadena has been excellent at improving my daughter's math skills during the pandemic. However, more importantly her love of of math and confidence in her math skills has grown significantly. She eagerly goes to her tutoring and leaves with exuberance every day. I think a large part of the success is due to the instructors' calm and positive approach. I value the manager advice of steadily building the base and adding the bricks has been very helpful.
