My daughter’s math skills have improved exponentially. When she started at Mathnasium eight months ago (at the start of fourth grade), she tested as having mastered only most of second grade-level material. She whined and complained every day about her 6-10 questions of math homework. Now (nearing the end of fourth grade), she has mastered almost all of the fourth grade-level material, her homework gets done without complaint, and she is the top math student in her class. I’m so happy we got her math skills in shape before she decided that she just isn’t good at it, etc. The management at this location are always friendly and helpful and my daughter really likes several of the teachers there too. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The Mathnasium’ program gave our son tremendous confidence and the best tools to help him succeed in math.

Mathnasium is a wonderful place to take your gifted child for advancement in mathematics. My son is so happy every time he goes there. He is thriving beyond his grade level. The staff are friendly and highly knowledgeable about best practices and latest research in mathematics. Friendly staff and the kids learn. My daughter is getting support with basic math skills but she is also getting support with class in assignments when necessary to stay current with her class. She loves going and always sees friends from her school which makes it less of a drag for her to get tutoring after school. Andrew and staff in Studio City are great at communicating and have great energy which keeps my daughter enthusiastic about weekly sessions.

My daughter loves the staff, positive vibes and energy. She earns points for going to her sessions and gets prizes with her points. Cool incentive for her. I like that we are not taking homework packages home to do and grading ourselves (like another place we use to go to down the way in Ventura). All her work is done there during her one hour session. No homework is brought home.

We would highly reccomend Covina Mathnasium! With math, for some, not being an understandable subject, having instructors that are patient friendly and knowledgeable, will make a big difference in a young childs world in math.
