I like the helpfulness of the front of house staff.
I enjoy the Aqua Fit sessions during the week.
I would like another daytime option as many times the class is already full, even 7 days before. There's 2 evening classes and only 1 in daytime (11am Monday) Evening costs more!
I preferred the old system at Denton which was 'first come first served at the time' and pay as you go. All this booking ahead and going on the waiting list is really tedious and often I miss out on my pool exercise. I am not a good swimmer, so just going in the pool is not a choice I would go for.
Also I think more people could fit in the Aqua class - there is usually some free space. Thanks

Great aqua class with Christie on Saturday, where she displays various levels for people with different standards of fitness and ability. For once the temperature of the new pool was of a reasonable level and wasn't too cold.
Downside is the lack of private shower cubicles and the drinks vending machines not working (yet again).
A good example of an active gym should be!!! clean all of the machines in good working order plenty of staff if helps needed incase of being unsure of how to use equipment and safety (unlike the Ken ward) left to ruin ie broken equipment treadmills dirty with no staff and you still need your card to enter? I can't say it's worth the £35 a month I pay for that place but as for Hyde I recommend!
We went to swim slide and waves session, changing rooms were clean and being cleaned regularly between sessions.
O ly downfall was the ladies toilets which were not so clean.
Ist Fantastic now that the equipment has been updated, just frustrating at 5.00 when the gym is packed with teenagers/kids, half of which tend to mess around
We attended a wave session which was well run and enjoyable. Only negatives were receptionist was not very welcoming and miserable and cafe seemed out of stock of almost everything. L
