The personal professional touch is what Denton pool excels at . It’s a fabulous team at Denton & it’s an absolute disgrace it’s not been; invested in , maintained & looked after over the years so it can continue to be the wonderful community hub it has become . It does exactly what a local swimming pool should do & it does it fantastically .
The new centre is an extravagance & an unnecessary expense & I feel TMBC have gone without thinking of the real needs , financial restraints & wishes of the direct facility using public . It will cause congestion in the area & potentially put users of this service into a difficult position re finances due to an expected rise in cost of what is a basic life skill - learning to swim .
The additional service to be contained within are already covered in the borough at other sites .
Staff are friendly and theres lots of choice of classes to book.

Active Ashton has everything that I need. From swimming to the gym to the fitness classes to sauna. Its facility is also good for the disabled.

I like your group classes but would like to have full 60 minutes Les Mills classes like Bodybalance

The classes and instructors are great. The changing rooms need an update though. Lits of lockers don't work and it's freezing! Any chance of some heating on?
I enjoy the Zumba classes the most. Maybe they could offer more.

The staff are nice and friendly
I have always enjoyed swimming at the Denton pool as the early opening times on Tuesday and Thursday are very convenient for me. I recently had an issue with my membership with Live Active but this was resolved by Peter who was very helpful and made me feel a lot better. I am now looking forward to getting fit and hopefully losing some weight with their help.
