I was able to drop my chair off the same day and repair was completed in the time frame I was told. I can't even tell where the chair was broken.
In addition to the excellent job of stripping an old maple drop leaf table, I appreciated the detailed explanation about re-assembly and staining. Boyd and his wife care about quality work and good communication.

1. Based on information given during my first phone call 'just to see what it would entail' to have a tabel refinished, this person convinced me that he would be the one to deal-with
Questions asked re: the type of wood, how long it would take, different details he needed to look at... indicated to me that he knew what he was capable & knew what he was doing.
2. Personal attention to what I would like to have done w/ the furniture.
I took one of the leaves out to him and I was able to explain what I wanted.
He was able to get them stripped and sanded so I could show my husband & kids @ Thanksgiving. (I appreciated him meeting that little deadline.)
The individuals working there are knowledgeable and seem to approach their work
as craftsmen; even to the point of creating a stain that would best match my
desired color.
