How Well the Organization is Run, & Information shared!
HELPS ALL THE BUILING INDUSTRY
Not only do you get to be a part of a great group of individuals that are more than willing to work with you to grow.... you also can use your ability to help someone else grow..... Thanks AHBA for all you do...
After just returning from the International Builders show and attending a portion of the NAHB board meeting- I have a renewed appreciation for the effect we all have in this industry for the American dream of HOME ownership. My wish is for the future generations to be able to own homes, start and raise families in the community they were raised in.
Great organization that looks out for one another.
Great community events and tie-in for all trades. Great job!
Great organization....lots of info....great contacts
The HBA is a great way to network with other business owners and meet new people in the community.
Networking !
There are many reasons to be a member. But one that stands out is:
The Homebuilders is a great way to network, ask questions in our field, and maintain a connection with other people in our line of work. It allows us to stay informed, and have a voice at different levels too.
Relationships
We can accomplish more for the Homebuilding Industry as an Association working together.
Part of a local organization that has well respected national ties and support NAHB
You should be a member of an Association that is there to help keep you in Business.
Through our HBA membership I was invited to join PWB. They are an incredibly supportive group of women professionals. Most of my experiences have come through PWB.
the assoc advocates for the building industry and addresses issues that confront it.
It’s the best way to network within my industry.
They work extremely hard to stay informed and on top of new laws that affects the building industry and their customers.
The importance of being represented on regulatory issues, locally, state-wide and nationally. Three memberships in one.
Volusia County needs more advocates to fight for our industry. Government continues to raise fees on home builders making affordable housing out of reach for most home buyers. All impact fees need to be abolished, I still can't figure out what we get from our fees, I think this money is wasted on retirement funds.
The value of networking with others directly involved locally in this industry is priceless.
The educational opportunities from the HBA can elevate your skills with proven results. I am a believer in the phrase. "IT IS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, BUT WHO YOU KNOW." This is where you find the people that you want to know.
They help and support us
VBIA WORKS for our industries
If your company does anything in residential construction or associated services membership you want to be in-the-know. Membership assures you will be kept informed of legislative changes on the horizon as well as other business specific factors that help you navigate.
The EU is very proactive and keeps us informed about what is happening
All they do for the community and members to make sure they get the correct education to grow their business.
Because the TBA provides a legitimately friendly atmosphere where anyone can fit in, and take advantage of the awesome networking opportunities. If your not in the TBA, your missing out.
Networking
My involvement with SUHBA has been great for 8 years and the association with the other members is meaningful because of the caliber of people in this industry.
This organization gives back to the community in very generous ways.
I believe in what the HBA stands for and am proud to be able to serve and be a part of such a great group of professionals!!!
