The great job it does for the building industry and the community.
I love being a part of the Southeastern Louisiana Homebuilders Association. As an associate member, I do business with several of the homebuilders locally and have done business with other associates as well. I have called on senior officers to assist me when I need advice on insurance, business and construction related issues. I am also active on the state level. I enjoy participating in the fund raising events and get satisfaction in how the association gives back to the community.
Great people to be associated with, and fun times at the meetings in the past!
This association is comprised of local business men and women and is a great resource for networking and community involvement. The association further works to support local legislative needs of the builder community.
Industry leader
It is important than ANY person or business involved in the building trades supports their Local National Association of Home Builders. Each business is NOT just an island unto themselves. We all participate in one of the most important trades in the country; that of building and remodeling homes & businesses for the future. The NAHB also has a voice in Washington D.C. representing our interests in legislation which can affect our businesses, employees and communities. Membership in the NABA and your local chapter is some of the best money ever spent. Golden View Homes, LLC La Crosse, WI.
Great opportunity to make sure you are connected and informed with the industry.

KABA helps me to keep informed on important issues and topics. It also helps me network with other leaders in our industry.
Great people
So many reasons:
1. HBA stays in tune to new Regulatory codes that can affect housing
2. Goes to bat to protect the Home Building Industry
3. Great Staff at WHBA
4. Monthly meetings while sometimes scheduling Local Municipality leaders to attend
5. Friendly
6. Interviews Candidates for Local Offices
HBA is still the leading advocate for the home building industry. We typically don't have the time to work on the issues that face our industry, with the HBA we have trusted leaders working towards our goals while we get to concentrate on providing a family their next home.
Because I said so LOL
I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE A GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS THAT ARE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD AS BEING PART OF THE ASSOCIATION

All people employed in a business that is a part of the home building and light construction industry needs to belong and give back to this wonderful career.
Great team - and a great value
It is a critical part of residential construction. The organization monitors changes in code, legislation as it affects building, and other related building issues. Both members and non-members gain knowledge that help in their businesses. It also helps associates in their business as well. Usually members are a step up or more professional than a lot of non-members and being associated with other builders helps builders to be a better builder.
